How to upgrade the firmware of an NVR/DVR using the Tools Software

Preparazzjoni:

1. Download the correct firmware for your NVR/DVR
2. Niżżel is-softwer tal-Għodda.
3. Ensure that the PC and the NVR/DVR are on the same network segment.

Proċeduri:

1. Open the Tools software and click Fittex settings.

2. Enter the device login password in the Password field. Then, click OK.

3. Ikklikkja Fittex to discover. If the entered password is correct, the camera status will appear as `Online‘. If it says `Il-login falla‘, you will not be able to procced with the update.

4. Ikklikkja fuq Aġġornament button (the fourth button on the left panel).

5. Check the boxes for the devices you would like to update.

6. Ikklikkja Agħżel File to locate and select the appropriate firmware file.

7. Iċċekkja l- Irrisettja box if required, then click Update.

8. After the firmware has been uploaded to the device, the upgrade will proceed. Do not close the tool until the update is completed.
9. Once the upgrade is successful, the Upgrade status will be ‘Taġġorna suċċess“.
