4. Setup

  1. Installa Batteriji: Open the battery compartments on both the receiver and transmitter units. Insert 2 AAA batteries into each unit, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  2. Qabbad is-Sondi: Insert the stainless steel temperature probes into the corresponding sockets on the transmitter unit. Ensure they are fully inserted.
  3. Qawwa Mixgħul: Press the power button on both the receiver and transmitter units to turn them on. The units should automatically synchronize. If they do not, refer to the troubleshooting section.
  4. Pjazzament: Place the transmitter unit near your cooking appliance (oven, grill, smoker). The receiver unit can be carried with you, allowing you to monitor temperatures remotely.

5. Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi

5.1 Monitoraġġ tat-Temperatura

  1. Daħħal is-Sonda: Carefully insert the tip of the stainless steel probe into the thickest part of the meat, avoiding bone or gristle. For ambient temperature, use the probe clip to attach it to the grill grate.
  2. Select Probe: Fuq ir-riċevitur, agħfas il- PROBE/SET/ALARM button to cycle between Probe 1 and Probe 2.
  3. View Temperatura: The current temperature for the selected probe will be displayed on the receiver's LCD screen.

5.2 Setting Target Temperature / Alarm

  1. Select Probe: Agħfas PROBE/SET/ALARM to select the desired probe (P1 or P2).

5.3 Funzjoni Timer

  1. Attiva Timer: Agħfas il- TIMER °F/°C button to switch to timer mode.
