4. Setup

- Select the appropriate nylon shims for your handlebar diameter.
- Attach the two-sided handlebar mount to your handlebars using the provided hex key. Ensure it is tightened securely.
- Slide the Monteer 12000 light unit onto the mount until it clicks into place.
- Adjust the light head angle as needed using the tool-free mechanism to prevent blinding oncoming traffic.

4.1.2 Helmet Mount Installation
- Attach the helmet mount to your helmet using the helmet mounting straps. Thread the straps through the helmet vents and secure them.
- Slide the Monteer 12000 light unit onto the helmet mount until it clicks into place.
- Adjust the light head angle to ensure optimal illumination of your path.

4.2 Connecting the Battery Pack
- Secure the MJ-6398 battery pack to your bike frame using the provided battery mounting straps. Ensure it is positioned safely and does not interfere with cycling.
- Connect the power cable from the light unit to the battery pack. Ensure the connection is firm.
- If needed, use the extension cable for optimal battery placement.
