6. Operation (Charging)

1. Once the battery's balance lead is correctly connected to the appropriate port (3S or 4S), the charger will automatically begin the charging process.
2. The status indicator LEDs will illuminate red (or similar color) to indicate that charging is in progress. Each cell's LED may light up individually or a single overall charging LED will be active.
3. When the battery is fully charged, the status indicator LEDs will turn green (or similar color) for all cells, or the overall charging LED will change to green.
4. Once charging is complete, disconnect the battery from the charger. First, remove the balance lead, then any main discharge lead if connected.

Nota: The FMS A400 is a simple balance charger. It automatically detects the cell count (3S or 4S) based on the port used and charges accordingly. There are no manual settings for charge current or voltage on this model.
