The detachable wire landing gear can be easily installed by inserting the wire ends into the designated slots on the underside of the fuselage. Ensure they are firmly seated.

4.2. Konnessjoni tal-batterija

Connect the aircraft battery to the flight controller. Ensure the connection is secure. The aircraft is ready for flight once the battery is connected and the throttle is quickly pushed to the highest position and then pulled back to the lowest position, followed by a "beepbeep" sound.

5.1. Modi tat-Titjira

The Fms PA-18 Super Cub offers three distinct flight modes, selectable via a switch on the transmitter:

  • Beginner Mode (Full-Stabilizing): Provides maximum gyro assistance for stable and easy flight, ideal for first-time pilots.
  • Intermediate Mode (Optimized Stabilization): Offers reduced gyro assistance, allowing for more agile maneuvers while maintaining a degree of stability.
  • Expert Mode (Manual Control): Disables gyro assistance, providing full manual control for advanced aerobatics and experienced pilots.

5.2. One-Key Return

The aircraft features a one-key return function. When activated, the plane will automatically turn around and fly back towards its takeoff point. Ensure the aircraft is at least 20m above the ground for optimal performance of this feature.

The Fms PA-18 Super Cub is constructed from durable EPP foam, designed to withstand minor impacts. In case of damage, EPP foam can often be repaired using foam-safe glue.

Always use the provided USB-C charger for the rechargeable battery. Do not overcharge or completely discharge the battery. Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
