5. Setup

5.1 Installazzjoni tal-batterija

3. Insert 4x 1.5V AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery cover securely. The screen should light up.

5.2 Connecting the Timer to Faucet

1. Ensure the faucet is turned off.
2. Apply the provided thread sealing tape to the threads of your outdoor faucet.
3. Screw the brass inlet of the water timer onto a standard 3/4" garden faucet. Hand-tighten firmly. Do not overtighten.
4. Ensure the sealing washer is properly seated inside the timer's inlet to prevent leaks.

1. Attach your garden hoses to the four independent outlets at the bottom of the timer.
2. If needed, use the provided hose adapters for compatibility.

6. Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi

The timer features a large LCD display and a combination of buttons and a rotary knob for easy programming.

6.1 Issettjar tal-Arloġġ

1. Turn the rotary knob to the 'Clock' position.
2. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the current time (24-hour format). Long press for faster adjustment.
3. Press 'OK' to confirm.

6.2 Automatic Watering (Programming Schedules)

You can program each of the four zones independently.

1. Turn the rotary knob to 'Set Time'.
2. Use the 'Zone' button to select the desired watering zone (1-4).
3. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the 'Start Time' for the selected zone. Press 'OK' to confirm.
4. Turn the rotary knob to 'How Long'. Use '+' and '-' to set the watering duration (1 to 360 minutes). Press 'OK'.
5. Turn the rotary knob to 'How Often'. Use '+' and '-' to set the watering frequency (e.g., every 1, 3, 6, 12 hours, or every 1-30 days). Press 'OK'.
6. Repeat steps 2-5 for other zones as needed.
7. Once programming is complete, turn the rotary knob to 'AUTO' to activate the schedules.

6.3 Tisqija manwali

Manual mode allows for immediate watering without affecting your programmed schedules.

1. Press the 'Manual' button.
2. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired manual watering duration (1 to 360 minutes).
3. Press 'OK' to start manual watering. All active zones will water sequentially for the set duration.
4. To stop manual watering, press 'Manual' again or turn the knob to 'OFF' and then back to 'AUTO'.

6.4 Funzjoni ta' Dewmien għax-Xita

This feature allows you to pause your watering schedule for a set period during rainy weather.

3. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to select the desired delay duration (1 to 15 days).

6.5 Modalità tas-Serratura tat-Tfal

To prevent accidental changes to your settings:

• To activate: While in 'AUTO' mode, press and hold the 'OK' button for 3 seconds until a lock icon appears on the display.
• To deactivate: Press and hold the 'OK' button for 3 seconds until the lock icon disappears.
