3. Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi
3.1 Power On/Off
Agħfas il- QAWWA button to turn the meter on. The large LCD will display the current parameter, time, date, and temperature. Press the QAWWA button again to turn the meter off.
3.2 Għażla tal-Parametru
Uża l- MODALITÀ button to cycle through the available measurement parameters: pH, ORP, mV, Conductivity, TDS, Salinity, and Temperature.
3.3 Kalibrazzjoni
The meter features automatic buffer recognition for pH calibration and supports 5 calibration points. Refer to the detailed calibration procedure in the full instruction manual for each specific parameter (pH, ORP, Conductivity, TDS, Salinity).
- Kalibrazzjoni tal-pH: Use standard pH buffer solutions. The meter will automatically recognize the buffer values.
- Conductivity/TDS/Salinity Calibration: Use appropriate standard solutions.
3.4 Teħid tal-Kejl
- Ensure the appropriate electrode is connected and properly conditioned.
- Select the desired measurement parameter using the MODALITÀ buttuna.
- Immerse the electrode(s) into the sample solution. Ensure the sensor part of the electrode is fully submerged.
- Allow the reading to stabilize. The meter provides automatic or manual temperature compensation and ranging.
- The LCD will display the stable measurement.
- Uża l- HOLD/REC button to hold the current reading or record data (if connected to PC with software).
4. Manutenzjoni
4.1 Kura tal-Elettrodi
- Elettrodu tal-pH: Always keep the pH electrode bulb moist. Store it in a suitable storage solution or pH 4 buffer when not in use. Never store in distilled water.
- Conductivity Electrode: Rinse the conductivity electrode with distilled water after each use. Store dry or in a conductivity storage solution as recommended.
- Tindif: Clean electrodes regularly according to the full manual's instructions to prevent buildup that can affect accuracy.
4.2 Meter Cleaning
Wipe the meter's housing with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure no liquid enters the meter's ports or openings.
4.3 Ħażna
When not in use for extended periods, disconnect the AC adaptor and store the meter and electrodes in a clean, dry environment within the specified operating temperature range.
5 Issolvi l-problemi
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your Sper Scientific Benchtop Water Quality Meter 860033.
- Qari Instabbli: If readings are unstable, ensure electrodes are properly conditioned and calibrated. Gently stir the sample solution around the probe to help readings settle. Check for air bubbles on the electrode surface.
- Qari mhux eżatt: Recalibrate the meter with fresh standard solutions. Check electrodes for damage or contamination. Ensure temperature compensation is correctly applied.
- Meter Not Powering On: Verify the AC adaptor is securely connected to both the meter and a working power outlet.
- No Communication with PC: Ensure the computer cable is correctly connected and the software drivers are installed. Check the RS232 port settings on your computer.
