Introduzzjoni
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of stars and planets with the KIDYTELESCOPE, designed specifically to arouse the curiosity of young astronomers. This easy-to-use telescope, rich in educational features, allows children to explore the night sky with exceptional clarity. Featuring a stable tripod and a built-in compass for easy orientation, it turns every observation into a captivating adventure under the stars.
The finderscope allows you to aim a portion of space thanks to its less focal length. Once the star is in the correct axis, the telescope can be adjusted. KIDYTELESCOPE offers a clear view with a diameter of 50mm and a focal length of 360mm. It includes a 20mm eyepiece for 18x magnification and a 6mm eyepiece for 60x magnification, as well as a Barlow lens that triple magnification to capture the finest details. The 45° diagonal prism ensures optimal comfort during prolonged observation sessions thanks to its variable angle. It also allows you to see the image in the "good way", unlike the finderscope.

Setup Istruzzjonijiet
Follow these steps to assemble your Kidy Telescope:
- Waħħal it-Tripod: Unfold the legs of the table tripod and place it on a stable, flat surface.
- Immonta t-Tubu tat-Teleskopju: Securely attach the main telescope tube to the tripod mount. Ensure it is firmly tightened to prevent movement during observation.
- Installa l-Finderscope: Slide the finderscope into its mounting bracket on the main telescope tube and tighten the retaining screws.
- Daħħal il-Priżma Djagonali: Insert the 45° diagonal prism into the focuser of the main telescope tube. This prism allows for more comfortable viewing angles and corrects the image orientation.
- Agħżel Lenti: Select either the 20mm eyepiece (for 18x magnification) or the 6mm eyepiece (for 60x magnification) and insert it into the diagonal prism. For higher magnification, you can also insert the Barlow lens between the diagonal prism and the eyepiece.
- Align the Finderscope: Before observing, align the finderscope with the main telescope. Point the main telescope at a distant, stationary object (like a tree or building during the day). Look through the finderscope and adjust its alignment screws until the same object is centered in both the finderscope and the main telescope's eyepiece.

Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi
Observing with Your Telescope
- Locate Your Target: Use the finderscope to locate the celestial object you wish to observe. The finderscope has a wider field of view, making it easier to find objects.
- Center the Object: Once the object is visible in the finderscope, make fine adjustments to the telescope's position until the object is centered.
- Iffoka l-Immaġni: Look through the main telescope's eyepiece and slowly turn the focus knob until the image appears sharp and clear.
- Bidla Tkabbir: To change the magnification, remove the current eyepiece and insert a different one. Remember that higher magnification (6mm eyepiece or with Barlow lens) will result in a dimmer and narrower field of view, which is best for observing bright objects like the Moon or planets. Lower magnification (20mm eyepiece) is ideal for wider views of star clusters or nebulae.
- L-użu tal-Lenti ta' Barlow: The Barlow lens triples the magnification of any eyepiece. Insert the Barlow lens into the diagonal prism first, then insert your chosen eyepiece into the Barlow lens.
Terrestri Viewing
While primarily designed for astronomy, your Kidy Telescope can also be used for terrestrial (land) viewing. The 45° diagonal prism ensures the image is correctly oriented (not inverted), making it suitable for observing distant landscapes, wildlife, or other terrestrial objects.
Manutenzjoni u Kura
- Tindif tal-Lentijiet: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses to gently wipe away dust. For smudges, use a small amount of optical cleaning fluid on the cloth, not directly on the lens. Avoid touching the lens surfaces with your fingers.
- Ħażna: When not in use, store the telescope in a dry, dust-free environment. Keep the lens caps on the main objective lens and eyepieces to protect them from dust and scratches.
- Immaniġġjar: Always handle the telescope with care. Avoid dropping it or subjecting it to harsh impacts, as this can damage the optical components or alignment.
- Temperatura: Avoid exposing the telescope to extreme temperature changes, which can cause condensation on the lenses.
Issolvi l-problemi
- L-immaġni hija mċajpra:
- Ensure the focus knob is adjusted correctly.
- Check if the eyepiece is fully inserted into the diagonal prism.
- Verify that the lenses are clean and free of smudges or condensation.
- Ma nistax insib oġġetti:
- Make sure the finderscope is properly aligned with the main telescope.
- Start with the lowest magnification eyepiece (20mm) to get a wider field of view, then switch to higher magnification once the object is located.
- Image is upside down or reversed:
- Għal astronomiċi viewing, an inverted image is normal for many telescopes. However, the 45° diagonal prism included with your Kidy Telescope should correct the image to be "right-side up" for terrestrial viewing. Ensure the diagonal prism is correctly inserted.
