Prodott Overview

The Lockly Smart Lock Secure Pro is an advanced keyless entry system designed to enhance home security and convenience. It integrates multiple access methods including AI biometric fingerprint technology, a hack-proof PIN Genie keypad, and comprehensive app remote control. This smart deadbolt also features an auto-lock function, voice control compatibility, and traditional mechanical key access for ultimate flexibility.

Setup u Installazzjoni

Before beginning installation, ensure your door meets the required specifications for thickness, cross-bore hole, deadbolt bore hole, and back-set. A Phillips screwdriver and flathead screwdriver are essential. A drill, hole saw, and 1-inch drill bit may be optionally needed for door preparation.

Preparazzjoni tal-bieb:

1. Remove any existing lock set from the door.
2. Ensure the cross-bore hole is 2 1/8" (54mm) in diameter.
3. Ensure the deadbolt bore hole is 1" (25mm) in diameter.
4. Verify door thickness is between 1 3/8" (35mm) to 2" (50mm).
5. Confirm back-set is 2 3/8" (60mm) or 2 3/4" (70mm).

1. Installazzjoni Deadbolt:

   Extend the deadbolt by inserting a flathead screwdriver into the slot and turning clockwise. Hold the metal plate and twist the deadbolt body counter-clockwise until it snaps to 2 3/4" (70mm) back-set, or clockwise to return to 2 3/8" (60mm) back-set. Insert the deadbolt into the door edge hole, ensuring the slot is in the vertical position. Secure with two A1 screws.

2. Installa l-Assemblea Esterna:

   Check the exterior assembly (B) alignment to the door hole and deadbolt. Ensure the torque blade is in the vertical position. Peel off the film from the adhesive strips. Place the exterior assembly and torque blade through the deadbolt slot, guiding connection cables through the cross-bore hole under the deadbolt. Complete mounting by aligning and securing until flush to the exterior door surface. Do not insert a key at this stage.

3. Install the Interior Mount Plate:

   Guide the connection cables through the notched gasket in the lower corner of the interior mount plate (C). Align the mounting plate. Use the provided D screws and tighten by hand until the plate is flush with the door. Ensure the torque blade alignment is centered, then fully tighten the screws, making sure the cables are not pinched or compressed. Use the key to ensure the deadbolt locks and unlocks smoothly. If there is a problem, check the installation steps and adjust the mounting plate for misalignment. Leave the deadbolt extended and remove the key before proceeding.

4. Install the Interior of Lock:

   Remove the battery cover from the interior assembly (E) before installation. Determine the appropriate direction outlet for the wired sensor (bottom, left, or right). Connect cable ends to their matching counterparts. Before placing the interior assembly onto the mounting plate, ensure the thumb turn is vertical. Align the torque blade with the thumb turn shaft, ensuring both are in the vertical position. Insert the connector and excess wire into the door hole.
5. Install Batteries & Perform Self-check:

   Ensure the batteries are full. With the door open and deadbolt fully extended, place the ribbon inside the compartment and insert four batteries. After all batteries are installed, press and hold the program button for 4 seconds. The lock will automatically start self-check. Release the program button once self-check starts. The self-check process determines right or left swinging door and is very important to ensure correct installation. Make sure the deadbolt is properly installed without binding or resistance. Improper installation may increase power consumption and reduce battery life due to unusual motor operation. The deadbolt should smoothly retract and seat properly on the door frame strike when extended. Once self-check is complete, slide and snap the battery cover in place to secure the battery.

6. Install Door Frame Strike Plate:

   Select the appropriate strike plate (O or L) according to your door frame size. The strike reinforcer (N) can only be used with the L strike plate. If you need to install strike reinforcement (N), you may need to increase the depth of the groove to fit into the door frame. Make sure the depth of the groove is less than 5mm. Secure the strike reinforcement (N) with two M screws, and then secure strike plate (L) with two A1 screws.

7. Install the Wired Door Sensor:

   Door sensors provide real-time open and close push notifications and status updates. They also enable voice control with Siri, Amazon Alexa, or Google Assistant. Use adhesive foam pads to adjust the door wired sensor's height if needed. If your door back-set is 2 3/4" (70mm), no adjustments to the foam pad are needed. Trim the tab from the sensor if your door back-set is 2 3/8" (60mm). Remove the film from the adhesive, attach and secure it close to the door edge. Manually retract the deadbolt and close the door. Align the sensor magnet to the door frame. Once the sensors are as level as possible, remove the film from the adhesive and install with the arrows aligned to each other, ensuring there is less than a 3/4" (20mm) gap.
