Thank you for choosing the NELO Electric Kettle. This manual provides important information for the safe and efficient use of your appliance. Please read all instructions carefully before first use and retain for future reference.

3. Setup Inizjali

1. Remove all packaging materials and labels from the kettle and power base.

3. Fill the kettle with fresh water to the 'MAX' line.
4. Boil the water at 212°F (100°C) and then discard it. Repeat this process 2-3 times to clean the interior and remove any manufacturing residues.
5. Rinse the interior of the kettle with clean water.

Placing the Kettle:

Place the power base on a dry, flat, and stable surface. Ensure the power cord is not dangling or in contact with hot surfaces. The kettle can be placed on the 360° swivel base from any direction.

1. Press the button on the handle to open the 90° pop-up lid.
2. Fill the kettle with the desired amount of fresh water. Do not fill below the 'MIN' mark or above the 'MAX' mark (1.0L).

1. Place the filled kettle securely on the power base.

Using Temperature Presets:

The kettle offers 5 preset temperatures for various beverages:

• 104°F (40°C): Tejiet delikati
• 158°F (70°C): Green teas
• 176°F (80°C): White teas
• 195°F (90°C): Oolong teas
• 212°F (100°C): Black/Herbal teas, instant coffee, noodles, oatmeal

1. Fill the kettle with water and place it on the power base.
2. Agħfas il- Temperature Preset button () repeatedly to cycle through the desired temperature settings. The selected temperature will be displayed.
3. The kettle will begin heating to the chosen temperature. The digital display will show the current water temperature.
4. Once the target temperature is reached, the kettle will automatically shut off.

Funzjoni Żomm sħun:

After reaching the selected temperature, the kettle can maintain this temperature for up to 2 hours.

1. Select your desired temperature preset as described above.
2. After the kettle reaches the target temperature and automatically shuts off, press the buttuna Żomm sħun (). The kettle will periodically reheat the water to maintain the set temperature for up to 2 hours.
3. To deactivate the Keep Warm function, press the On/Off button or lift the kettle from its base.

5. Manutenzjoni u Tindif

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your NELO Electric Kettle.

Cleaning the Interior (Descaling):

Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the kettle, especially in hard water areas. Descaling regularly will help maintain heating efficiency.

• Fill the kettle with a solution of equal parts water and white vinegar (or a commercial descaling agent) up to the 'MAX' line.
• Let the solution soak for at least 30 minutes, or boil the solution if the buildup is severe.
• Discard the solution and rinse the interior thoroughly with fresh water several times.
• If a vinegar smell persists, boil fresh water in the kettle and discard it. Repeat as necessary.
