4. Gwida ta' Setup

Setting up your AlkiVision security camera is designed to be straightforward. Please follow these steps:

  1. Niżżel l-App: Fittex għal and download the "VicoHome" app from your device's app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS). Alternatively, you can scan the QR code provided in the camera's packaging or quick start guide.

    • Bluetooth Connection (Recommended): Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is enabled. The VicoHome app should automatically detect the camera and prompt you to connect to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. (Note: 5GHz Wi-Fi is NOT supported).
    • QR Code Connection (Alternative): If Bluetooth connection is not available or fails, the app will display a QR code. Position your camera to scan this QR code from your phone screen. The camera will confirm successful scanning and proceed with Wi-Fi connection.
  6. Imla Setup: Follow any remaining prompts in the VicoHome app to name your camera, set up recording preferences, and configure alert settings.

Access the live feed of your camera through the VicoHome app. You can remotely control the camera's horizontal (355°) and vertical (90°) rotation to view different areas. This wide range ensures comprehensive coverage of your monitored space.

5.2. 2K HD Color Night Vision

Your camera is equipped with 2K quality video capabilities, providing clear details day and night. It supports color, smart, and infrared night vision modes. With exclusive Magicpix technology, night vision performance is enhanced for superior clarity and detail in low-light conditions.

  • Ħażna Cloud: Enjoy free rolling 3-day cycle cloud storage, allowing you to review recent events without a subscription.
  • Ħażna tal-Kard SD: The camera supports local storage via an SD card (up to 128GB, not included). This provides a reliable backup and extended recording capacity.
