4. Setup u Installazzjoni
The WOLFBOX EV Charger is designed for hardwired installation. Due to the high voltage involved, professional installation by a licensed electrician is strongly recommended.
4.1 Immuntar tal-Ċarġer
- Select a suitable indoor or outdoor location for the charger, ensuring it is within reach of your vehicle and a dedicated 60A or greater circuit breaker.
- Use the provided wall mount bracket as a template to mark the drilling points.
- Drill holes and secure the wall mount bracket using the provided screws and expansion tubes.
- Attach the connector holder to the wall at a convenient height.

This section is for licensed electricians only. Do not attempt electrical wiring if you are not qualified.
- Ensure power to the circuit is completely shut off at the main breaker.
- Open the charger's wiring compartment.
- Route the appropriate gauge wiring (not less than 8AWG) from your dedicated circuit breaker to the charger's terminal block.
- Connect the L1, L2/N, and PE (ground) wires securely to the corresponding terminals within the charger.
- Secure the wiring compartment cover and ensure all waterproof connectors are tightened.
- Mount the charger onto the previously installed wall mount bracket.

The WOLFBOX EV Charger offers flexible charging options:

- Connect the J1772 connector to your electric vehicle's charging port. (For Tesla vehicles, use a compatible J1772 to Tesla adapter).

5.2 RFID Card Activation
- If RFID activation is enabled (via the mobile app), charging will not start automatically upon plugging in.
- Plug the J1772 connector into your vehicle.
- Swipe one of the provided RFID cards over the designated sensor on the charger.
- Charging will commence. Swipe the card again to stop charging.
