5. Setup

1. Qabbad mal-Laptop: Connect the integrated USB-C cable from the docking station to a compatible USB-C port on your Windows laptop.
2. Qabbad il-Qawwa (Mhux obbligatorju iżda Rakkomandat): For optimal performance, especially when using multiple displays or high-power devices, connect a 100W (or above) USB-C PD power adapter to the USB-C PD Input Port on the docking station. This will also provide pass-through charging to your laptop.
3. Qabbad id-Displays: Connect your monitors to the HDMI and/or DisplayPort outputs on the docking station. The docking station supports triple display for Windows systems.
4. Install DisplayLink Driver (if necessary): For triple display functionality on Windows, or extended display on macOS, you may need to install the DisplayLink Manager driver. Visit the official DisplayLink website (synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads) to download the latest driver for your operating system.

Display Configuration (Windows)

The docking station supports triple display for Windows systems, allowing for extended or mirrored modes across multiple monitors. This enhances multitasking capabilities significantly.

Note: macOS systems do not support triple-display mode; they can only extend one display with connected monitors under the extension mode.

Screen-Lock Button

The convenient screen-lock button on top of the docking station allows you to instantly secure your sensitive information by locking your display(s). Press once for Windows systems, or twice for macOS.

The USB-C PD port supports a maximum 100W power input, providing pass-through charging to your laptop with an output of up to 85W. Ensure you use a 100W adapter when the device is fully loaded.

Gigabit Ethernet

Connect to a stable and fast network with the Gigabit Ethernet port, supporting speeds up to 1Gbps for smooth internet browsing and data transfer.

7. Manutenzjoni

• Tindif: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the surface of the docking station. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
