1. Introduzzjoni
Thank you for choosing the Lumos Ultra MIPS+ Smart Bike Helmet. This helmet is designed to enhance your safety and riding experience with integrated lighting and smart features. Please read this manual carefully before using your helmet to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

2. X'inhu Inkluż
The Lumos Ultra MIPS+ Bundle includes the following components:

3. Setup
3.1 Iċċarġjar inizjali
Before first use, fully charge your Lumos Ultra helmet and the Lumos Remote Lite. The helmet uses a USB Type-C cable, and the remote uses a magnetic charging cable. A full charge can take approximately 2-3 hours.
3.2 Helmet Fit and Adjustment
Ensure the helmet fits snugly and comfortably. Adjust the retention system at the back of the helmet and the chin straps for a secure fit. The helmet should not move freely on your head.
3.3 Tqabbil mill-bogħod
The Lumos Remote Lite controls the helmet's turn signals. To pair:
- Turn on your Lumos Ultra helmet.
- Press and hold the button on the Lumos Remote Lite until its indicator light flashes.
- The remote and helmet will automatically pair. A successful pairing is indicated by a solid light on the remote.

Download the Lumos Helmet App from your device's app store. The app allows for advanced customization and features.

4. Kif Tħaddem l-Elmu
4.1 Power On/Off
To power on the helmet, press and hold the power button located on the rear of the helmet until the lights illuminate. To power off, press and hold the same button until the lights turn off.
4.2 Sinjali tad-dawrien
The Lumos Remote Lite, mounted on your handlebars, controls the turn signals. Press the left button for a left turn signal and the right button for a right turn signal. The corresponding rear lights on the helmet will flash to indicate your turn.

4.3 Light Customization and Brightness
Use the Lumos Helmet App to customize your helmet's light patterns and adjust brightness levels. You can choose from various blinking patterns and brightness settings to suit different riding conditions and personal preferences.
4.4 360-Degree Visibility
The integrated front and rear LED lights ensure you are visible from all angles, significantly enhancing your safety, especially in low-light conditions.

5. Manutenzjoni
5.1 Tindif
Clean the helmet shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the finish or internal components. The internal padding can be removed and hand-washed with mild soap and water, then air-dried.
5.2 Kura tal-Batterija
To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the helmet and remote frequently. Charge them regularly, especially if storing for extended periods. Store the helmet in a cool, dry place.

Store your helmet in a safe place where it will not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or physical damage. Keep it away from sharp objects that could scratch or puncture the shell.

- Confirm the helmet is powered on.

Always wear your helmet correctly adjusted and fastened. No helmet can protect against all possible impacts. Replace your helmet after any significant impact, even if visible damage is not apparent.
