1. Setup

1.2 Label Installation

To install labels, first take out the label roll and tear open the sealed edge. Ensure the printable area of the label is facing down when inserting it into the machine. Pull the transparent protective tape to the paper exit, then close the cover. Finally, tear off the transparent protective tape. The label installation is now complete.

1.4 Initial Button Setup

The Makeid S1 Pro features four function buttons for quick printing: "Kitchen", "Custom", "Date", and "EXP". You can customize these buttons via the app.

1. Set up the Date Button: Customize the date format (e.g., DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY, YYYY/MM/DD) according to your preference within the app settings.
2. Set up the EXP Button: Customize the expiration date format and shelf-life cycle (e.g., 1 year, 1 month, 1 week, 1 day) according to your preference. The machine will automatically calculate the expiry date based on these settings.
3. Set up the Kitchen Button: Enter commonly used printing words for kitchen items, such as favorite seasonings and ingredients. You can also select words from the app's library for configuration.
4. Set up the Custom Button: Enter commonly used printing words for personal items, such as name tags and personal item labels. You can also select words from the app's library for configuration. After setting up, click "Update" to complete the setup, and the words will appear on the machine's screen.

2.1 Print without Phone

You can print labels directly from the device using the pre-configured function buttons. Click the "Kitchen" or "Custom" button, then use the directional keys to select the desired word. After confirmation, click the "Print" button to print the label. The same operation applies to the "Custom" button. For dates, you can quickly modify the date in two ways:

1. Metodu 1: Click the "Date" button. Use the directional keys to select a date within 30 days before or after the current date. Click the "Print" button to print the label.

After adjustments, long-press the "Date" button for 2 seconds or don't perform any actions within 5 seconds to exit the time modification mode. Click the "Print" button to print the label.

To adjust the expiration date, click the "EXP" button. By default, it displays the shelf life date calculated based on the settings on your phone. Long-press the "EXP" button for 2 seconds to enter the time modification mode. Adjust the date using the directional keys. Press the "EXP" button once to adjust the position of the Year/Month/Day. Further adjust the date with the directional keys. After adjustments, long-press the "EXP" button for 2 seconds or don't perform any actions within 5 seconds to exit the time modification mode. Click the "Print" button to print the label.

2.2 Print with Phone

Keep the machine on and install the label correctly. Connect to the app. After connecting to the app, it can automatically recognize the label size placed inside the machine. Click to enter the editing page. Edit text information freely, adjust the font and font size. You can also insert any stickers, templates, etc. When using fonts, templates, or stickers, make sure the app is in a network-available state. Click "Print" to complete the creative printing.
