Setup
Immuntar tar-Riflescope
The Venom riflescope is designed for use with Picatinny mounts. Ensure proper eye relief and reticle alignment during mounting. Use high-quality rings and follow the manufacturer's torque specifications for mounting screws to prevent damage to the scope tube.
- Securely attach appropriate scope rings to your rifle's Picatinny rail.
- Place the riflescope into the lower half of the rings.
- Adjust the scope forward or backward to achieve optimal eye relief.
- Ensure the reticle is level with the rifle.
- Install the top halves of the rings and tighten screws evenly, following torque specifications.
Focusing the Reticle (Fast-Focus Eyepiece)
For a crisp reticle image, adjust the fast-focus eyepiece:
- Look through the scope at a plain, bright background (e.g., a wall or clear sky).
- Quickly glance at the reticle and then away.
- While quickly glancing, turn the eyepiece in or out until the reticle appears sharp and clear.
- Avoid staring at the reticle for too long, as your eye will compensate for any blur.
Setting the RevStop® Zero System
The RevStop® Zero System allows for a reliable return to your zero after making elevation adjustments. This should be set after the riflescope has been zeroed to your desired distance.
- After zeroing your riflescope, loosen the set screws on the elevation turret cap.
- Remove the elevation turret cap.
- Place the RevStop® Zero Ring onto the turret post, ensuring it seats properly.
- Reinstall the elevation turret cap, aligning the "0" mark with the indicator line on the scope body.
- Tighten the set screws on the elevation turret cap.

Aġġustament tal-Ingrandiment
Rotate the magnification adjustment ring to change the scope's power. The included throw lever can be attached to this ring for quicker and easier adjustments, especially when wearing gloves or in dynamic shooting situations.

Aġġustamenti ta' Elevazzjoni u Windage
The elevation turret (top) and windage turret (side) are used to adjust the point of impact. Each click of the turret moves the point of impact by a specific value (MOA for this model). Turn the elevation turret clockwise to move the point of impact down, and counter-clockwise to move it up. Turn the windage turret clockwise to move the point of impact right, and counter-clockwise to move it left.

Figure 6: Elevation and Windage Turrets for point of impact adjustments.
Aġġustament tal-Parallax
Parallax is the apparent shift in the reticle's position relative to the target when the shooter's eye moves. The parallax adjustment knob (left side of the scope) allows you to eliminate this error for various distances. Turn the knob until the target and reticle appear to be in the same focal plane, meaning the reticle does not appear to move when you slightly shift your head.
EBR-7C (MOA) Reticle
The EBR-7C (MOA) reticle is a first focal plane reticle, meaning its subtensions remain accurate across all magnification settings. This allows for consistent ranging, holdovers, and windage corrections regardless of the magnification level. Refer to the included Reticle Manual for detailed information on using the EBR-7C (MOA) reticle for ranging and ballistic solutions.

Manutenzjoni
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your riflescope.
Tindif tal-Lentijiet
Use the provided lens cloth or a soft, clean optical cloth to gently wipe away dust and debris. For stubborn smudges or fingerprints, use a lens cleaning solution specifically designed for optics. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the lens coatings.
Tindif Ġenerali
Wipe the exterior of the riflescope with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt or grime. Ensure all turrets and moving parts are free of debris. The Armortek coating provides scratch and oil resistance, making cleaning easier.
Prestazzjoni li ma jgħaddix ilma minnha u kontra ċ-ċpar
The Venom riflescope is nitrogen purged and O-ring sealed, providing waterproof and fogproof performance. While designed to withstand harsh conditions, avoid unnecessary submersion. If the scope gets wet, dry it thoroughly with a clean cloth.
Ħażna
Store your riflescope in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the tethered lens covers to protect the objective and ocular lenses when not in use.
Issolvi l-problemi
If you encounter issues with your riflescope, consider the following common solutions:
- Blurred Reticle: Adjust the fast-focus eyepiece. Ensure your eye is not compensating for the blur by quickly glancing.
- Blurred Image/Parallax Error: Adjust the parallax knob to match the target distance. The image and reticle should be sharp and free of apparent movement when you shift your eye.
- Inaccurate Adjustments: Ensure turret caps are properly seated and tightened. Verify that the RevStop® Zero System is correctly installed. Check scope rings and mount for proper torque.
- Ċpar: While the scope is nitrogen purged, extreme temperature changes can sometimes cause external condensation. Allow the scope to acclimate to the temperature or wipe external surfaces. Internal fogging indicates a seal issue and requires service.
- Point of Impact Shift: Check scope rings and mount for looseness. Ensure the rifle and ammunition are consistent. Verify zeroing procedure.
