3. Setup Inizjali

3.1 Unpacking and First Use Cleaning

  3. Wash the glass carafe and its lid, and the GoldTone filter in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.

  1. Plug the coffee maker into a standard 120V AC outlet. The display will flash "12:00".

  5. Place the GoldTone filter into the filter basket. Alternatively, you can use a standard paper filter (size #2 cone filter).
  6. Add the desired amount of ground coffee into the filter. A general guideline is one level tablespoon of medium-coarse ground coffee per cup. Do not exceed 8 tablespoons.

  10. Agħfas il- ON/AUTO/MITFI button once. The red "ON" indicator light will illuminate, and brewing will begin.
  11. The Drip Stop feature allows you to remove the carafe for approximately 20 seconds to pour a cup before brewing is complete. Replace the carafe promptly to prevent overflow.
  12. Once brewing is complete, the coffee maker will automatically switch to the "Keep Warm" mode. The heating plate will keep the coffee warm for 2 hours, then automatically shut off.

4.2 Using the Programmable Timer (AUTO)

  1. Prepare the coffee maker for brewing as described in section 4.1 (fill water, add coffee grounds, place carafe).

  7. To cancel the auto-start function, press the ON/AUTO/MITFI button until the "AUTO" indicator light turns off.
