The Sunbeam SDK-011A is a cordless 1.7 litre stainless steel kettle designed for efficient water boiling. It features a concealed heating element for safety and easy cleaning, a hinged lid for convenient filling, and a large water window for clear visibility of water levels. The kettle also includes an automatic shut-off function and boil-dry protection for enhanced safety.

Setup

1. Spakkjar: Carefully remove the kettle and its power base from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or disposal.
2. Tindif tal-Ewwel Użu: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the MAX level. Boil the water, then discard it. Repeat this process two to three times to remove any manufacturing residues.

• Fill the kettle with a mixture of one part white vinegar and two parts water. Alternatively, use a commercial descaling solution following the product's instructions.
• Bring the mixture to a boil and then let it stand for at least 30 minutes, or longer for heavy scale build-up.
• Empty the kettle and rinse thoroughly with fresh water several times to remove any residue and vinegar smell.
• If necessary, repeat the process until all scale is removed.

When not in use, store the kettle and its power base in a dry, safe place, away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
