- L-installazzjoni għandha ssir minn persunal ikkwalifikat biss.
- Segwi l-kodiċijiet u r-regolamenti elettriċi lokali kollha.
- Verify correct wiring connections to prevent damage to the controller or connected equipment.
4.2 Immuntar tal-Kontrollur
The HGM9520 controller is designed for panel mounting. Ensure adequate space for ventilation and access to wiring terminals.
- Cut a rectangular opening in the control panel according to the specified dimensions in the product datasheet.
- Daħħal il-kontrollur fil-ftuħ minn quddiem.
- Waħħal il-kontrollur billi tuża l-klipps tal-immuntar provduti minn wara tal-pannell.
4.3 Konnessjonijiet tal-Wiring
Refer to the wiring diagram for detailed connection instructions. All connections must be secure and properly insulated.

Figure 4.1: Typical Application Wiring Diagram
This diagram illustrates the typical wiring connections for the HGM9520 controller in a generator application. It shows connections for load, mains, generator, auxiliary outputs, inputs, fuel, oil pressure, engine temperature, CANBUS, and RS485. Note the fuse requirements for F1 (min. 2A; max. 20A) and F2 (min. 32A).
- Provvista tal-Enerġija: Connect the DC power supply to the designated terminals. Observe polarity.
- Generator Inputs: Qabbad voltage and current transformers (CTs) for generator monitoring.
- Mains Inputs: Qabbad voltage transformers for mains monitoring.
- Sensuri tal-Magna: Connect sensors for oil pressure, engine temperature, fuel level, etc.
- Portijiet tal-Komunikazzjoni: Connect RS485 for remote communication and USB for PC configuration.
- Fjusis: Ensure appropriate fuses are installed for F1 (min. 2A; max. 20A) and F2 (min. 32A) as indicated in the wiring diagram.
5. Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi
5.1 Ixgħel u Wiri Inizjali
Once correctly wired and powered, the controller will perform a self-test and display the main operating screen. The 4.3-inch TFT-LCD will show real-time generator and mains parameters.
5.2 Navigation and Parameter Configuration
- Use the navigation buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right, Enter, Esc) to browse menus and adjust settings.
- Most common parameters can be adjusted directly from the front panel.
- For advanced configuration, connect the controller to a PC via USB or RS485 and use the SMARTGEN configuration software.
