5. Setup

1. Spakkjar: Carefully remove all packaging materials and check for any damage. Keep packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Tindif Inizjali: Before first use, wash the water tank and drip tray with warm, soapy water. Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp drapp.
3. Imla t-Tank tal-Ilma: Remove the water tank from the back of the machine. Fill it with fresh, cold water up to the MAX line (800 ml capacity). Place the tank back securely.
4. L-Ewwel Użu / Ipprajmjar:

   • Plug the machine into a grounded power outlet. The power button will illuminate.
   • Press the power button to turn on the machine. It will begin heating (pre-heating time is approximately 30 seconds).
   • Once heated, select the Lungo (100 ml) option without any coffee or capsule inserted. Let the water run through to clean the internal system. Repeat this process 2-3 times.
5. Pożizzjonament: Place the machine on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

The Cecotec 4-in-1 machine offers flexibility for various coffee types.

5. Select your desired coffee volume: Espresso (50 ml), Lungo (100 ml), or Large coffee (150 ml). The machine will automatically dispense the selected volume.
6. After brewing, remove the cup and dispose of the used coffee/capsule.
7. The machine features an energy-saving system with automatic shutdown after 9 minutes of inactivity and a standby mode.

Using Ground Coffee:

1. Insert the Ground Coffee Adapter into the machine.
2. Add your desired amount of ground coffee into the filter basket of the adapter. Do not overfill.
3. Close the adapter securely.
4. Proceed with general operation steps 4-6.

Using Nespresso, Dolce Gusto, or K-Fee Capsules:

1. Select the corresponding capsule adapter (Nespresso, Dolce Gusto, or K-Fee).
2. Insert the chosen adapter into the machine.
3. Place your capsule into the adapter.
4. Close the adapter securely.
5. Proceed with general operation steps 4-6.
