The PATPET P-Collar 680 Dog Training Collar system is designed to assist in training dogs using a remote transmitter and a receiver collar. It offers multiple training modes to help reinforce desired behaviors and correct unwanted ones.

2. Setup u Preparazzjoni
2.1 Iċċarġjar inizjali
Before first use, fully charge both the remote transmitter and the receiver collar. A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours and provides 40-60 days of training sessions, depending on usage.
- Connect the dual charging cable to the charging ports on both the remote and receiver.
- Plug the USB end of the cable into a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer, power bank, car charger).
- Indicator lights will show charging status and turn solid when fully charged.

2.2 Collar Fitting
Proper fit of the receiver collar is crucial for effective and humane operation. The collar should be snug enough to allow the contact points to touch the dog's skin, but not so tight as to restrict breathing or cause discomfort.
- Ensure the dog's neck is clean and dry.
- Place the receiver collar on your dog's neck, with the receiver unit positioned centrally under the chin or on the side of the neck.
- Adjust the nylon strap so that you can fit one finger snugly between the strap and your dog's neck.
- For dogs with thick coats, you may need to trim some fur around the contact points to ensure direct skin contact.
- The adjustable nylon collar fits dogs with neck sizes 7" - 27" and is suitable for dogs weighing 8 lbs - 100 lbs. Excess strap can be cut off if needed.

2.3 It-tqabbil tar-Remote u r-Riċevitur
The remote and receiver are typically pre-paired from the factory. If re-pairing is needed or for multi-dog training:
- Turn on the remote transmitter using the side On/Off button.
- Turn on the receiver collar by pressing its On/Off button.
- On the remote, select the desired dog channel (1 or 2) using the channel selection switch on the side.
- Press and hold the On/Off button on the receiver collar until the indicator light flashes rapidly.
- While the receiver light is flashing, press any training mode button (Tone, Vibration, or Static) on the remote. The receiver light will become solid if pairing is successful.
3. Operating the Training Collar
3.1 Remote Transmitter Functions
The remote transmitter features an intuitive design for easy operation.

- Buttuna tat-Ton: Delivers an audible beep.
- Buttuna tal-Vibrazzjoni: Delivers a non-harmful vibration.
- Static Stimulation Button: Delivers a static pulse. Levels are adjustable from 1-16.
- Buttuni 'l fuq /' l isfel: Adjust the intensity level of the static stimulation. The current level is displayed on the LCD screen.
- Swiċċ tal-Kanal: Allows selection between Dog 1 and Dog 2 for multi-dog training.
- On/Off Button (side): Powers the remote on or off. Long press for 1.5 seconds for auto-off protection.

3.2 Modi ta' Taħriġ
The collar offers three safe and effective training modes:
- Modalità Ton: A simple audible cue, often used for positive reinforcement or as a warning before other stimulations.
- Modalità ta' Vibrazzjoni: A gentle vibration, useful for gaining attention or as a mild correction.
- Modalità ta' Stimulazzjoni Statika: Adjustable static pulse for more firm corrections. Start at the lowest level and gradually increase until your dog responds.

3.3 Control Distance and Multi-Dog Training
The remote control offers a robust range of up to 4000 feet (approximately 1200 meters) in open areas, allowing for effective training even at a distance.

The system supports training two dogs simultaneously with a single remote. Use the channel switch on the side of the remote to toggle between Dog 1 and Dog 2.

4. Manutenzjoni u Kura

The remote control is not fully waterproof; avoid submerging it in water. It is designed to withstand light rain.
4.3 Ħajja tal-batterija
The collar and remote are designed for long battery life, supporting 40-60 days of training sessions on a single 2-hour charge. Recharge when the battery indicator shows low power.
5 Issolvi l-problemi
If you encounter issues with your PATPET training collar, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:

- Verify that the remote and receiver are properly paired to the correct channel.

- Confirm that the contact points are making proper contact with the dog's skin. Adjust collar tightness or use longer contact points if necessary.

- Obstacles such as buildings, trees, or uneven terrain can reduce the effective range. Try training in an open area.
- Ensure both devices are fully charged.
- Static Stimulation Not Felt:
- Increase the static level on the remote.
- Ensure contact points are firmly touching the dog's skin. Consider using the longer contact points or trimming fur.
- Importanti: Before using static stimulation on your dog, it is recommended to test the static level on your own hand or leg to understand the sensation.
