3. Connecting to Xbox (Series X|S, One)

For Xbox console compatibility, the VelocityOne Rudder Pedals require connection through a Turtle Beach VelocityOne Flight Universal Control System or VelocityOne Flightstick.

  1. Ensure the mode switch on the rudder pedals is set to 'Xbox' mode.
  2. Connect the 2.5m USB-C to USB-C Pass-Through Cable to the designated port on your VelocityOne Flight or Flightstick.
  3. Connect the other end of the pass-through cable to the USB-C port on the rudder pedals.
  4. Connect your VelocityOne Flight or Flightstick to your Xbox console as per its instruction manual.

4. Adjusting Pedal Width and Springs

The pedals offer adjustable width and swappable springs to customize the feel.

  • Wisa' tal-Pedale: The pedal platforms can be adjusted horizontally to accommodate different foot sizes and preferences. Refer to the markings on the base for guidance.
  • Swappable Pedals: Two sets of pedals are included: one for general aviation (shorter) and one for commercial aircraft (longer). These can be easily swapped by removing the retaining pins.
  • Rudder Spring Tension: The main rudder axis includes swappable springs (60N and 80N) to adjust resistance. Use the provided Allen key to access and change the springs according to your desired feel.

Operazzjoni

1. Rudder Control

The single, return-to-center axis provides fluid forward and backward movement for accurate directional control in flight simulators. Push the left pedal forward to yaw left, and the right pedal forward to yaw right.

2. Differential Braking

The spring-loaded brake pedals are located at the top of each rudder pedal. Pressing the top section of a pedal independently activates the differential brake for that side, allowing for precise ground steering and braking control.

Manutenzjoni

The VelocityOne Rudder Pedals utilize non-contact hall-effect sensors, which require minimal maintenance and offer a longer product life compared to traditional potentiometers.

  • Keep the pedals clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
  • Evita li tesponi l-unità għal temperaturi jew umdità estremi.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble the unit beyond the specified adjustable components.

Issolvi l-problemi

  • Pedals Not Responding / Incorrect Input:
Ensure all cables are securely connected. For PC, try connecting the USB cable directly to a main USB port on your computer, avoiding USB hubs, as some hubs may cause connectivity issues. If issues persist, unplug and replug the pedals after a PC reboot.
  • Aġġornamenti tal-Firmware:
Periodically check the official Turtle Beach website for firmware updates. If experiencing issues with the update process (e.g., installer stuck at 0%), ensure you have a stable internet connection and temporarily disable any antivirus software that might interfere. Try running the updater as an administrator.
  • Kwistjonijiet ta' Kalibrazzjoni:
If the rudder or brake axes are not registering correctly, check your flight simulation software's controller settings for calibration options. Windows Game Controller settings may also offer calibration tools.
  • Unstable on Surface:
Utilize the included rubber pads or carpet spikes for enhanced stability on various floor types. For permanent setups, use the pre-drilled holes and M4 screws to mount the pedals to a cockpit frame.
