3. Setup
3.1 Konnessjoni tal-Enerġija
- Kun żgur li s-swiċċ tal-qawwa tal-magna tal-iwweldjar ikun fil-pożizzjoni 'MITFI'.
- Connect the power cable to a suitable 1-AC 230V power outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded and can handle the machine's power requirements.

3.2 Gas Connection (for MIG/MAG welding)
If performing MIG/MAG welding, an external shielding gas cylinder is required. For flux-cored welding, no external gas is needed.
- Connect the gas hose from your shielding gas cylinder (not included) to the gas inlet connector on the rear panel of the welding machine.
- Kun żgur li l-konnessjonijiet kollha huma ssikkati biex tevita tnixxijiet tal-gass.

3.3 Installazzjoni tar-Rukkell tal-Wajer
- Open the side panel of the welding machine to access the wire spool compartment.
- Place the wire spool onto the spool holder. Ensure the wire unwinds in the correct direction. The machine supports wire spools from 0.5 kg to 5 kg.
- Thread the welding wire through the wire feeder mechanism. Ensure it passes through the guide tube and into the drive rollers.
- Close the drive roller tension arm and adjust the tension knob to apply appropriate pressure to the wire. The wire should feed smoothly without slipping or being crushed.

3.4 Konnessjoni tal-Aċċessorji tal-Iwweldjar
- Torċa MIG: Connect the MIG torch cable to the corresponding connector on the front panel. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Detentur tal-Elettrodu (għall-MMA): Qabbad il-kejbil tad-detentur tal-elettrodu mat-terminal pożittiv (+) fuq il-pannell ta' quddiem.
- Art Clamp: Qabbad l-art clamp kejbil mat-terminal negattiv (-) fuq il-pannell ta' quddiem. Waħħal il-kejbil tal-ertamp sew mal-biċċa tax-xogħol jew mal-mejda tal-iwweldjar, u tiżgura kuntatt elettriku tajjeb.

4. Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi
4.1 Operazzjoni Ġenerali
- After completing all connections, switch the power button to 'ON'.
- Select the desired welding process (MIG/MAG, MMA, or Flux-Cored) using the mode selection switch on the control panel.
- Aġġusta l-parametri tal-iwweldjar (kurrent, volumtage, wire speed) according to the material thickness and welding process. The synergic control knob simplifies this by suggesting optimal settings, which can then be fine-tuned manually.
4.2 Iwweldjar MIG/MAG
MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and MAG (Metal Active Gas) welding use a continuously fed wire electrode and an external shielding gas to protect the weld pool from atmospheric contamination. The choice of gas depends on the material being welded.
- Ensure the gas cylinder is connected and the gas flow rate is set appropriately.
- Select MIG/MAG mode.
- Aġġusta l-voltage u l-veloċità tal-għalf tal-wajer.
- Maintain a consistent torch angle and travel speed for optimal results.
4.3 Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)
Flux-cored welding uses a tubular wire filled with flux, which produces its own shielding gas when burned, eliminating the need for an external gas cylinder. This makes it suitable for outdoor use or when gas cylinders are impractical.
- Ensure flux-cored wire is loaded. No external gas connection is required.
- Select Flux-Cored mode.
- Aġġusta l-voltage u l-veloċità tal-għalf tal-wajer.
- Clean slag from the weld after cooling.
4.4 Iwweldjar bl-MMA (Manual Metal Arc)
MMA welding, also known as stick welding, uses a consumable electrode coated with flux. The flux creates a shielding gas and slag to protect the weld. This process does not require external shielding gas.
- Daħħal l-elettrodu xieraq fid-detentur tal-elettrodu.
- Agħżel il-modalità MMA.
- Adjust the welding current. The Hot Start function assists with arc ignition, and Arc Force helps maintain a stable arc.
- Strike the arc and maintain a consistent arc length and travel speed.
- Chip off slag after the weld has cooled.
4.5 Safety Precautions During Operation
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including a welding helmet with suitable shade, welding gloves, protective clothing, and safety shoes.
- Kun żgur li jkun hemm ventilazzjoni adegwata fiż-żona tal-iwweldjar biex tferrex id-dħaħen.
- Żomm fire extinguisher fil-qrib.
- Iwweldjax ħdejn materjali li jaqbdu.
- Evita li tmiss partijiet elettriċi ħajjin.

5. Manutenzjoni
Manutenzjoni regolari tiżgura l-lonġevità u t-tħaddim sikur tal-magna tal-iwweldjar tiegħek.
- Tindif: Naddaf il-barra tal-magna perjodikament b'ċarruta niexfa. Uża arja kkompressata biex tneħħi t-trab u l-fdalijiet mill-fetħiet tal-ventilazzjoni. Kun żgur li l-magna tkun skonnettjata qabel ma tnaddafha.
- Spezzjoni tal-Cable: Regularly inspect all welding cables, torch, electrode holder, and ground clamp għal ħsara, qatgħat, jew konnessjonijiet laxki. Ibdel il-komponenti bil-ħsara immedjatament.
- Alimentatur tal-wajer: Keep the wire feeder mechanism clean and free of debris. Check the drive rollers for wear and ensure proper tension.
- Ħażna: Store the welding machine in a dry, clean environment, away from dust and moisture, when not in use.
