5. Setup
- Ippakkja: Remove the hydraulic bottle jack and its components from the packaging.

6.1. Lifting the Vehicle

- Position Jack: Locate the vehicle manufacturer's recommended lifting point. Place the hydraulic jack directly under this point, ensuring the saddle is centered and making full contact with the lifting surface.
- Close Release Valve: Insert the slotted end of the lifting handle onto the release valve and turn it clockwise until it is firmly closed. Do not overtighten.
- Lift Load: Insert the handle into the pump sleeve. Pump the handle up and down steadily to raise the jack ram and lift the vehicle to the desired height.
- Tagħbija Sikura: Immediately after lifting, place appropriately rated jack stands under the vehicle's designated support points. Slowly lower the vehicle onto the jack stands (see 6.2 Lowering the Vehicle) and remove the hydraulic jack. Never work under a vehicle supported only by the jack.

- Fully Lower: Continue to open the valve until the vehicle is fully lowered to the ground.
