Familiarize yourself with the buttons and ports:

  • CLK/MEM: Clock/Memory button for setting time and saving radio presets.
  • SET: Used in conjunction with CLK/MEM for setting time and alarms.

5. Setup

5.1 Konnessjoni tal-Enerġija

  1. Plug the AC power cord into the AC IN jack on the back of the unit.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cord into a standard wall outlet (AC 120V, 60Hz).
  3. The unit will power on, and the display will show a flashing time (e.g., 12:00 AM).

The unit requires one 9V battery (not included) for battery backup. This feature retains your time and alarm settings during a power outage.

Agħfas il- DIMMER button repeatedly to cycle through different brightness levels for the display (High, Medium, Low, Off).

6.3 Setting Alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2)

You can set two independent alarms. The procedure is similar for both.

  1. To Set Alarm 1: Agħfas u żomm il- AL1 VOL+ Agħfas il-buttuna sakemm il-ħin tal-allarm jteptep.
  2. Uża l- + or - tuning buttons to adjust the alarm hour. Observe the PM indicator.

6.4 Funzjoni Snooze

6.5 Turning Off Alarms

  • To disable an alarm permanently: Press the corresponding alarm button (AL1 VOL+ or AL2 VOL-) repeatedly until the AL1 or AL2 indicator light turns off.

6.6 Radio Operation (AM/FM/Weather Band)

  1. Agħfas il- SOURCE/AL OFF button repeatedly to cycle through radio bands: FM, AM, NOAA, AUX.

You can store your favorite radio stations for quick access.

The RCA RCDW10 is equipped to receive NOAA Weather Alerts, providing critical information during severe weather events.

  • When the unit is in NOAA Weather Band mode (selected via SOURCE/AL OFF button), it continuously monitors for weather alerts.
  • Upon receiving an alert, the unit will sound an alarm and display the NOAA indicator.
  • The alert system is designed to provide timely warnings for various natural disasters, including tornadoes, hurricanes, heavy rain/flooding, and earthquakes.
  • Ensure the antenna is fully extended for best reception of NOAA broadcasts.

6.9 Sleep Timer
