4. Setup

4.1. Installation of the Switching Unit (Receiver)

The switching unit must be installed by a qualified electrician. Ensure the main power supply to the heating/cooling system is turned off before installation.

1. Mount the switching unit in a suitable location near your heating or air conditioning appliance, away from direct heat sources or drafts.
2. Connect the power supply (230 V AC) to the appropriate terminals on the switching unit.
3. Connect the control wires from your heating/cooling system to the switching relay terminals (e.g., NO, COM, L) or OpenTherm terminals (OT1, OT2) as required by your appliance. Refer to your appliance's manual for specific wiring diagrams.

4.2. Control Unit (Transmitter) Battery Installation

1. Open the battery compartment on the back of the control unit.
