  • 1 x Balance Ball Set
  • 1 x Ball Launch Platform
  • 1 x Blower
  • 1 x Floating Ball
  • 1 x Launch Button
  • 1 x Light Box
  • 1 x Robot
  • 1 x Rocket
  • 1 x Rocket Launch Pad
  • 1 x Wajer Hook
  • 1 x Wire Maze
  • 7 x Breadboard
  • 6 x Battery Compartment (requires 2 AA batteries each, 12 total, not included)
  • 6 x On/Off Switches
  • 19 x Spring Connector

Setup

  1. Installazzjoni tal-batterija: Each of the 6 battery compartments requires 2 AA batteries (not included). Open the battery cover on each compartment, insert 2 AA batteries according to the polarity markings (+/-), and close the cover securely.
  2. Breadboard Assembly: The breadboards can be connected together to form larger bases for your experiments. Align the interlocking edges and press them firmly together. You can create flat layouts or 3D cube designs.
  3. Tqegħid tal-Modulu: Place the various experiment modules (e.g., Light Box, Robot, Rocket Launch Pad) onto the breadboard by aligning their bases with the breadboard's connection points.
  4. Ċirkwiti ta' Konnessjoni: Use the spring connectors to link the modules and battery compartments. Ensure connections are firm to establish a complete circuit. Refer to the specific experiment diagrams for correct wiring.

Operating Instructions: Experiments

This kit allows for 6 primary experiments. Follow the general setup instructions above before proceeding with specific experiment wiring.

Image: The complete Action Circuitry Electronic Experiment Set with various modules, including the floating ball mechanism, rocket, and Newton's cradle.

This experiment demonstrates air current and levitation.

  1. Connect a battery compartment and an On/Off switch to the Blower module using spring connectors.
  2. Place the Floating Ball on top of the Blower's nozzle.
  3. Turn the On/Off switch to the 'ON' position. The blower will activate, causing the ball to levitate in the air current.

2. Light Tunnel Experiment

Explore light and visual effects with the Light Box.

  1. Connect a battery compartment and an On/Off switch to the Light Box module.
  2. Turn the On/Off switch to 'ON'. Observe the light patterns and effects within the Light Box.

3. Wire Trap Experiment

A hand guiding a wire hook through a wire maze, part of the Action Circuitry Electronic Experiment Set.

Image: A close-up of the wire trap experiment in progress, showing a hand carefully moving the wire hook through the maze.

Test your steady hand and learn about open/closed circuits.

  1. Connect a battery compartment, an On/Off switch, and a Light Box (or other indicator module) to the Wire Maze.
  2. Connect the Wire Hook to the circuit.
  3. Turn the On/Off switch to 'ON'. Carefully guide the Wire Hook through the Wire Maze without touching the maze wire. If the hook touches the maze, the circuit will complete, and the indicator (e.g., Light Box) will activate.

4. Spinning Robot Experiment

A spinning robot module on a breadboard, part of the Action Circuitry Electronic Experiment Set.

Image: The spinning robot module assembled on a breadboard, ready for activation.

Observe motion and simple motor mechanics.

  1. Connect a battery compartment and an On/Off switch to the Robot module.
  2. Turn the On/Off switch to 'ON'. The robot will begin to spin.

5. Rocket Launcher Experiment

Experience the excitement of launching a rocket with a simple circuit.

  1. Assemble the Rocket onto the Rocket Launch Pad.
  2. Connect a battery compartment, an On/Off switch, and the Launch Button to the Rocket Launch Pad module.
  3. Turn the On/Off switch to 'ON'. Press the Launch Button to activate the launch mechanism and send the rocket upwards.

6. Balance Balls (Newton's Cradle) Experiment

Demonstrate the principles of conservation of momentum and energy.

  1. Place the Balance Ball Set (Newton's Cradle) on a stable, flat surface.
  2. Lift one of the end balls and release it to strike the adjacent ball. Observe the reaction of the balls on the opposite end.
  3. Experiment with lifting two or more balls simultaneously.

Manutenzjoni

  • Keep all components clean and dry. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth if necessary.
  • Store the kit in its original packaging or a suitable container to prevent loss or damage to small parts.
  • Regularly check battery compartments for corrosion. If corrosion is present, clean with a cotton swab and vinegar, then dry thoroughly.
