The Discovery E8200 is an assisted pedaling trekking bike featuring 28-inch wheels, a cushioned front fork, mechanical disc brakes, and a Shimano 7-speed derailleur. It is equipped with a 250W rear wheel motor and a 36V 10.4Ah (374.4 Wh) battery, offering up to 70 km of range and a maximum assisted speed of 25 km/h. The bike includes 6 levels of assistance controlled via an LCD screen on the handlebar, along with a 6 km/h walk-assist function.

1. Powering On/Off and LCD Display
The LCD display on your handlebar controls the electric assist system.

2. Gear Shifting (Shimano 7-Speed)
Your bike is equipped with a Shimano 7-speed derailleur system.
- Use the shifter on the right handlebar to change gears.
- Shift to a lower gear (larger cog) for easier pedaling on inclines.
- Shift to a higher gear (smaller cog) for faster speeds on flat terrain or downhill.
- Always pedal lightly when shifting gears to ensure smooth transitions and prevent damage to the drivetrain.

3. Braking System (Mechanical Disc Brakes)
The Discovery E8200 features mechanical disc brakes for reliable stopping power.
- The right brake lever controls the rear brake, and the left brake lever controls the front brake.
- Apply both brakes simultaneously for effective and controlled stopping.
- Avoid sudden, hard braking with only the front brake, especially at high speeds, as this can lead to loss of control.
- Brake performance may be reduced in wet conditions. Ride cautiously.
