Setup u Installazzjoni
Proper wiring is crucial for accurate measurements and safe operation. The Hall sensor measures current by passing the load wire through its central hole. The display unit requires a power supply (DC 10-60V) and connects to the Hall sensor via the provided shielding wire.

Image: Three common wiring configurations for the meter, showing connections to battery, load, and optional relay.
Wiring Configuration 1: Basic Monitoring (Self-Powered)
In this configuration, the meter is powered directly from the battery being monitored. This is suitable for systems where the battery voltage is within the meter's operating range (10-60V).
- Connect the positive terminal of the battery to the 'Bat+' terminal on the Hall sensor.
- Connect the negative terminal of the battery to the 'Bat-' terminal on the Hall sensor.
- Għaddi l- negattiv load wire through the central hole of the Hall sensor. Ensure the direction of current flow through the sensor matches the arrow on the sensor for correct bidirectional readings.
- Connect the display unit to the Hall sensor using the provided 50cm shielding wire.
- Ensure the jumper cap on the Hall sensor is placed to select the self-powered mode (typically labeled '10-60V' or similar, check the sensor board for exact markings).
Wiring Configuration 2: External Power Supply
Use this configuration when the battery voltage is outside the meter's operating range (e.g., 0-10V or above 60V) or if you prefer a separate power source for the meter.
- Connect the display unit to the Hall sensor using the provided 50cm shielding wire.
- Connect an external DC power supply (10-60V) to the 'Vext+' and 'Vext-' terminals on the Hall sensor.
- Remove the jumper cap from the Hall sensor to enable external power mode.
Wiring Configuration 3: With Relay for Output Control
This setup allows the meter to control an external relay (not included) based on configured protection parameters (e.g., over-current, low-voltagu).
- Follow either Configuration 1 or 2 for basic power and measurement connections.
- Connect the relay's control terminals to the 'Relay+' and 'Relay-' terminals on the Hall sensor.
- Ensure the jumper cap is set correctly for the chosen power mode (self-powered or external).
- The meter's output control button can then be used to enable/disable the relay, or the relay can be triggered automatically by protection settings.
Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi

Image: The main display interface, showing voltage, current, capacity, power, time, and protection status indicators.
Uri Fuqview
The 1.8-inch color LCD simultaneously displays:
- Voltage (V): Top left, large font.
- Kurrent (A): Below voltage, large font.
- Battery Capacity (%): Graphical bar and percentage.
- Amp-Hour (AH): Accumulated charge/discharge.
- Watt-Hour (WH): Accumulated energy.
- Qawwa (W): Instantaneous power.
- Time (H): Ħin li għadda.
- Indikaturi ta' Protezzjoni: OVP, OPP, OCP, OFT, OAH, LOP (Over-Voltage, Over-Power, Over-Current, Over-Time, Over-Charge, Low-Voltage Protezzjoni).
Funzjonijiet tal-buttuna
- Buttuna tal-Vleġġa 'l fuq: Navigates upwards through menu options or increases values during settings.
- Buttuna tal-Vleġġa 'l isfel: Navigates downwards through menu options or decreases values during settings.
- Buttuna OK: Enters menu, confirms selections, or toggles display modes (e.g., battery graph). Press and hold to access certain functions or calibration mode.
Resetting AH and Time
To reset accumulated Amp-Hours (AH) and Time, navigate to the relevant display screen using the arrow buttons. Press and hold the OK button until the values reset. This is useful for monitoring specific charge/discharge cycles.
Proċedura ta' Kalibrar
For optimal accuracy, calibration may be required. Follow these steps carefully:
- Daħħal il-Modalità tal-Kalibrazzjoni: While the device is powered off, press and hold the OK button. While holding OK, switch the power to the device ON. Release the OK button as soon as the display illuminates.
- Navigation in Calibration Mode: In calibration mode, press the OK button to move from one menu item to the next. Use the Up u Down arrow keys to adjust values.
- Zero Current Calibration: Before calibrating current readings, ensure no current is flowing through the Hall sensor. Switch off all loads. Press OK until the "0.0 A" option is selected, then press the Down arrow once to zero out the current reading.
- Positive Current Calibration (+A): To calibrate current in the charging direction, ensure current is flowing from the charging source into your battery. Press OK until the "+A" option is selected, then use the arrow keys to adjust the reading to match a known accurate current measurement.
- Negative Current Calibration (-A): To calibrate current in the discharging direction, ensure current is flowing out of your battery into your loads. Press OK until the "-A" option is selected, then use the arrow keys to adjust the reading to match a known accurate current measurement.
- Ħlief Settings: After completing all calibrations, navigate the cursor to the "Save" option using the OK button. Select "Save" to store your settings.
- Exit Calibration Mode: To exit calibration mode, simply switch the power to the unit OFF, then ON again.
