3.2 Connecting the EVO 8
Connect the EVO 8 to your computer using the provided USB-C to USB-A cable. The large central knob controls various parameters depending on the selected mode. Press the numbered buttons (1-4) to select an input and then turn the knob to adjust its gain. Use the monitor buttons to control headphone and speaker output levels. The EVO software mixer provides a visual interface for all controls, allowing for precise adjustments and routing.
4.3 EVO Software Mixer
The EVO software mixer provides comprehensive control over your audio routing and levels. You can adjust individual input gains, mute/solo channels, and manage the master mix. For stereo inputs (like gaming audio from a PC), you can link two mono inputs (e.g., 3 and 4) to create a stereo track within the software.
To ensure all audio from your streaming PC is heard through the EVO 8, set the loop-back source in the EVO software to 'Loop-back 1+2' or 'Master Mix'. This routes your PC's audio back into the interface for monitoring and streaming.
