3. Setup

3.1 Sistema Overview

The Anlapus security system consists of a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) and multiple bullet cameras. The DVR acts as the central hub for recording, managing, and accessing video footage. Cameras capture video and transmit it to the DVR via BNC cables.

Follow these steps to connect your cameras to the DVR:

1. Connect one end of the 1-to-4 power splitter cable to the camera power adapter.
2. Connect the other ends of the 1-to-4 power splitter cable to the power input of each camera.
3. Connect one end of the BNC video cable to the video output of a camera.
4. Connect the other end of the BNC video cable to an available BNC input port on the back of the DVR.
5. Repeat for all cameras.
6. Connect the DVR power adapter to the DVR's power input.
7. Connect the USB mouse to an available USB port on the DVR.
8. Connect a monitor to the DVR using either the VGA or HDMI port. Ensure the connection is secure.
9. Connect an Ethernet cable from your router to the LAN port on the DVR for network access.

3.3 Tixgħel

Once all connections are made, plug in the power adapters for both the cameras and the DVR. The DVR will automatically power on and initiate the system. The monitor connected to the DVR will display the startup sequence.

Steps to check DVR's network:

• For Android devices, download from the Google Play Store.
• For iOS devices, download from the Apple App Store.

After downloading, open the app and register a new account. You will need to provide an email address and set a password. A verification code will be sent to your email to complete the registration process.

To add your DVR to the Anlapus app, you will need the Device ID. There are three ways to obtain the Device ID:

1. Scan the QR code located on the physical DVR unit.
2. On the monitor connected to the DVR, during the initial setup wizard, a QR code for the Device ID will be displayed.
3. From the DVR's main menu, navigate to 'Information' > 'System'. The Device ID QR code will be displayed there.

Once you have the Device ID:

1. Open the Anlapus app and log in.
2. Tap the '+' icon in the top right corner.
3. Select 'Add Device' or 'Scan sharing QR code'.
4. Scan the Device ID QR code.
5. Enter a name for your device (e.g., 'Home Security').
6. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the addition.

The 1TB pre-installed hard drive allows for continuous recording. You can configure recording schedules (manual, scheduled, or motion detection-triggered).
