AN101 Pocket LCD Digital Multimeter Instruction Manual

Model: AN101 | Brand: Unknown

1. Introduzzjoni

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of the AN101 Pocket LCD Digital Multimeter. This compact and reliable instrument is designed for measuring DC/AC Voltage, DC/AC Current, Resistance, Diode, and Continuity. It is an essential tool for electricians, hobbyists, and students.

2. Informazzjoni dwar is-Sigurtà

Dejjem osserva l-prekawzjonijiet ta' sigurtà li ġejjin meta tħaddem il-multimetru:

  • Teċċedix il-valuri massimi tad-dħul speċifikati għal kull firxa.
  • Oqgħod attent ħafna meta taħdem bil-voltag'il fuq minn 30V AC RMS, 42V peak, jew 60V DC. Dawn il-volumitages joħolqu periklu ta' xokk.
  • Qabel ma tbiddel il-funzjonijiet jew il-firxiet, skonnettja l-wajers tat-test miċ-ċirkwit li qed jiġi ttestjat.
  • Never connect the meter to a voltage source when the function switch is set to Current, Resistance, or Diode/Continuity mode.
  • Kun żgur li l-għatu tal-batterija jkun magħluq sew qabel l-operazzjoni.
  • If the meter is used in a manner not specified by the manufacturer, the protection provided by the meter may be impaired.
  • Always use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with electrical circuits.

  1. Kun żgur li l-multimetru huwa MITFI.
  2. Sib il-kompartiment tal-batterija fuq wara tal-unità (ara l-Figura 3.4).
  3. Bl-użu ta' tornavit żgħir, neħħi bir-reqqa l-kamin li jżomm l-għatu tal-batterija.
  4. Neħħi l-għatu tal-batterija.
  5. Insert two CR2032 batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  6. Ibdel l-għatu tal-batterija u waħħalha bil-kamin.

4.2 Konnessjoni tal-wajer tat-test

Qabbad il-wajers tat-test mal-jacks tad-dħul xierqa:

  • Daħħal il- iswed ċomb tat-test fil- COM ġakk (komuni).
  • Daħħal il- aħmar ċomb tat-test fil- VΩmA jack għall-volumtage, reżistenza, dijodu, kontinwità, u kejl tal-kurrent sa 200mA.

5. Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi

The AN101 features automatic ranging for most measurements, simplifying operation. Always ensure the test leads are correctly connected and the function dial is set to the desired measurement type.

5.1 Operazzjoni Ġenerali

  1. Dawwar is-swiċċ rotatorju għall-funzjoni mixtieqa.
  2. Connect the test leads to the circuit or component under test.
  3. Aqra l-valur tal-kejl fuq id-displej LCD.
  4. Uża l- AGĦŻEL button to toggle between AC/DC modes where applicable (e.g., Voltage, Current).
  5. Uża l- GANJA button to switch between auto-ranging and manual ranging.
  6. Uża l- ŻOMM buttuna biex tiffriża l-qari attwali fuq id-displej. Agħfas mill-ġdid biex tirrilaxxa.

5.2 Kejl DC Voltage (V–)

  1. Issettja l-iswiċċ li jdur għal V–.
  2. Connect the red test lead to the positive (+) side of the DC voltage source and the black test lead to the negative (-) side.
  3. Aqra l-voltage value on the display. The meter will automatically select the appropriate range.

5.3 Kejl AC Voltage (V∼)

  1. Issettja l-iswiċċ li jdur għal V∼.
  2. Qabbad il-wajers tat-test mal-vultaġġ ACtagsors e.
  3. Aqra l-voltage value on the display. The meter will automatically select the appropriate range.

5.4 Measuring DC Current (µA–, mA–)

  1. IMPORTANTI: Ensure the circuit is de-energized before connecting the meter in series.
  2. Issettja l-iswiċċ li jdur għal µA– or mA– depending on the expected current.
