2. Setup

Carefully unpack all components from the box. Ensure all items are present before proceeding with installation.

Before connecting the scanner to your computer, install the necessary software. The OpticFilm 135i supports both Windows and Mac operating systems.

  1. Insert the provided software CD into your computer's optical drive. If your computer does not have an optical drive, download the latest software and drivers from the official Plustek websit.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation of the QuickScan Plus software and scanner drivers.

Once loaded, gently insert the film holder into the scanner's front slot until it engages. The scanner will automatically pull the holder in.

3.2 Scanning Process with QuickScan Plus

Launch the QuickScan Plus software on your computer. The software provides an intuitive interface for scanning and managing your images.
