The Plustek OpticFilm 135i is an advanced automatic film and slide scanner designed to digitize your precious 35mm film and slide collections with exceptional clarity and detail. Its batch scanning capability and infrared dust and scratch removal technology streamline the digitization process, making it efficient and user-friendly. This manual provides comprehensive instructions for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your OpticFilm 135i scanner.

2. Setup
2.1 Żpakkjar u Kontenut
Carefully unpack all components from the box. Ensure all items are present before proceeding with installation.

2.2 Installazzjoni tas-Softwer
Before connecting the scanner to your computer, install the necessary software. The OpticFilm 135i supports both Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Insert the provided software CD into your computer's optical drive. If your computer does not have an optical drive, download the latest software and drivers from the official Plustek websit.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation of the QuickScan Plus software and scanner drivers.

Once the software is installed, connect the scanner to your computer.
- Connect the USB cable to the scanner's USB port and to an available USB port on your computer.

- For 35mm Mounted Slides: Use the 35mm Mounted Slide Holder. Insert up to four mounted slides into the designated slots.
- For 35mm Filmstrips: Use the 35mm Filmstrip Holder. Open the holder, place your filmstrip (up to six frames) flat within the guides, and close the holder securely.
- For Panoramic or Half-Frame Film: An optional panoramic film holder is available for these specific sizes (up to 226mm in width).

Once loaded, gently insert the film holder into the scanner's front slot until it engages. The scanner will automatically pull the holder in.
3.2 Scanning Process with QuickScan Plus
Launch the QuickScan Plus software on your computer. The software provides an intuitive interface for scanning and managing your images.

4. Manutenzjoni

- Cleaning the Film Holders: Periodically clean the film holders with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any dust or debris that could affect scan quality.

5 Issolvi l-problemi
