9 Issolvi l-problemi

Here are solutions to common issues you might encounter with your FiiO BTR5:

  • Why can't the BTR5 pair and connect to my phone?
    1. Ensure the BTR5 is in pairing mode (displaying 'pairing'). You can force it by holding the multi-function key for 5 seconds.
    2. Check if your phone's Bluetooth is scanning. Some phones require manual 'refresh scan'. If still not found, try re-entering your phone's Bluetooth settings.
    3. Confirm your phone is not connected to other Bluetooth devices; disconnect them first.
    4. Due to phone brand differences, try several times if issues persist.
    5. When using NFC, ensure BTR5 is on and no other phones are connected.
  • Why is NFC not sensitive sometimes?
NFC is a near-field communication technology. Both NFC sensing areas of the phone and BTR5 must be close. NFC power varies by phone (metal cases can reduce sensitivity). Remove phone cases and try again.
  • Does the BTR5 support idle time power off?
Yes, for power saving. When connected, it enters standby if no music plays. When not connected, it powers off automatically after 2 minutes. Idle battery life is about 300 hours.
  • Is there a delay for BTR5? If so, how long?
All Bluetooth devices have some delay. It's not noticeable for music. Delay varies by codec. BTR5 supports aptX LL (low-latency) with less than 40ms delay. Other codecs have over 100ms delay.
  • Does the BTR5 support a headset's remote control and microphone?
The BTR5 supports CTIA standard line control and line microphones. Headsets with OMTP protocol only support normal listening.
  • EQ is invalid under BTR5's LDAC. Is it a hardware defect or a software problem?
Not a hardware defect. LDAC audio processing is unique. FiiO is debugging to achieve similar effects to other Bluetooth formats, which may take time.
  • What if the BTR5 appears to be frozen? How to reset BTR5?
If the BTR5 is frozen, hold the Power button for at least 10 seconds to reset it.
