The Hansgrohe Ecostat Comfort Thermostatic Shower Mixer is designed for surface mounting and is compatible with existing standard S-connections (G ½, DN15). Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper function and prevent damage.

The Ecostat Comfort mixer features two handles for controlling water flow and temperature.

The left handle controls the water flow. Rotate the handle to increase or decrease the water volume. The maximum flow rate is approximately 17 liters per minute at 3 bar pressure.

The right handle controls the water temperature. Rotate the handle to adjust the temperature. For safety, the mixer includes a SafetyStop feature, which typically limits the temperature to 40°C. To exceed this temperature, you must press a button or override mechanism on the handle while rotating it further. This prevents accidental scalding.
The thermostatic function ensures that the water temperature remains constant, even if the pressure in the hot or cold water supply fluctuates.
