Once installed, the Cintropur NW500 filter operates continuously to remove sediment from your water supply. The pressure gauges on the filter head (if installed) indicate the pressure difference across the filter, which can help determine when maintenance is needed.

The transparent filter bowl allows for visual inspection of the filter sleeve and the accumulation of impurities. A noticeable drop in water pressure or visible sediment in the water indicates that the filter requires cleaning or replacement.
6. Manutenzjoni
Regular maintenance ensures the optimal performance and longevity of your Cintropur NW500 filter.
6.1. Purge Cleaning System
The filter is equipped with a purge cleaning system for easy maintenance. This allows for quick removal of accumulated sediment without disassembling the entire unit.
- Locate the purge valve at the bottom of the filter bowl.
- Place a bucket or container beneath the valve.
- Slowly open the purge valve to flush out accumulated sediment.
- Close the valve once the water runs clear.
6.2. Filter Sleeve Replacement
The filter sleeve is disposable and should be replaced when it becomes heavily clogged or damaged. The frequency of replacement depends on water quality and usage.
- Shut off the main water supply to the filter.
- Open the purge valve to relieve pressure and drain water from the bowl.
- Use the provided wrench to unscrew the filter bowl from the head unit.
- Remove the old filter sleeve and dispose of it properly.
- Clean the inside of the filter bowl and inspect the O-rings for any damage. Replace O-rings if necessary.
- Insert a new Cintropur 25 µm filter sleeve.
- Carefully screw the filter bowl back onto the head unit, ensuring it is hand-tightened, then use the wrench for a final snug fit. Do not overtighten.
