4. Setup
4.1 Installazzjoni tal-batterija

- Lift the latch and remove the cover.
- Insert the NiMH battery pack according to the polarity markings inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and press firmly until it clicks securely into place. Ensure the seal is tight for waterproof performance.
4.2 Iċċarġjar tal-batteriji
Before first use, fully charge the batteries. A full charge can take up to 8 hours.

5.1 Turning the Radio On/Off and Adjusting Volume
- To turn on: Rotate the Power/Volume knob clockwise until you hear a click.
- To turn off: Rotate the Power/Volume knob counter-clockwise until you hear a click.
- To adjust volume: Rotate the Power/Volume knob clockwise to increase volume, counter-clockwise to decrease volume.

Your radio has 22 channels. To communicate with another radio, both radios must be on the same channel.

- VOX/iVOX (Voice Operated Transmission): Allows hands-free operation. When enabled, the radio transmits when it detects your voice. Adjust sensitivity in the menu.
