This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the Arlo VMC4030-100NAR PRO Add-on Camera. This renewed camera offers reliable security monitoring with features designed for ease of use and effective surveillance. Please read this manual thoroughly before operating your device.
Setup
Setting up your Arlo Pro Add-on Camera is a straightforward process. Ensure you have an existing Arlo Base Station (sold separately) and the Arlo app installed on your smartphone or tablet.

The camera uses a 2440mAh rechargeable battery. Before initial use, fully charge the battery. Connect the camera to a power source using the provided charging cable. The LED indicator on the camera will show charging status.
2. Syncing with Base Station
- Open the Arlo app and log in to your account.
- Tap "Add Device" and select "Camera."
- Follow the on-screen prompts to select your camera model.
- Press the Sync button on your Arlo Base Station for two seconds and release. The Camera LED on the base station will blink green.
- Within 60 seconds, press the Sync button on the Arlo Pro Add-on Camera for two seconds and release. The camera's LED will blink blue rapidly.
- Once synced, the camera's LED will blink blue slowly, then turn solid blue.
- Confirm the camera is added in the Arlo app.
