1. Introduzzjoni
This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, installation, operation, and maintenance of your MaxxHaul 80779 Aluminum Hitch Mount Wheelchair/Mobility Carrier. Please read all instructions carefully before use to ensure safe and proper operation. This carrier is designed for transporting wheelchairs, mobility scooters, lawn and garden equipment, and other small wheeled devices.

Adherence to these safety guidelines is crucial for preventing injury and damage to property. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death.

4. Setup u Assemblea
Assembly requires basic hand tools (wrenches, sockets). It is recommended to have assistance for easier assembly due to the size of the components.
- Assemble the Cargo Basket: Connect the aluminum side rails and floor sections using the provided bolts, nuts, and washers. Ensure all connections are tight and secure. The under-support frame, made of heavy-duty powder-coated steel, should be integrated during this step.
- Attach the Hitch Shaft: Secure the steel hitch shaft to the underside of the assembled cargo basket using the designated hardware. Ensure it is centered and firmly attached.
- Install Anchor Tie-Down Rings: Thread the anchor tie-down rings into the designated locations on the cargo basket. These provide secure points for cargo straps.
- Waħħal ir-Ramp: Position the 47" long aluminum ramp to the desired side of the cargo basket. Secure it using the provided pins or bolts, ensuring it can pivot smoothly for loading and unloading, and lock securely in the upright position for transport.
- Install Anti-Wobble Bracket: Once the carrier is inserted into your vehicle's hitch receiver, install the anti-wobble bracket around the hitch shaft and receiver. Tighten the bolts evenly to eliminate play and reduce carrier movement during travel.

5. Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi
5.1 Twaħħil mal-Vettura
- Slide the carrier's hitch shaft into your vehicle's 2" x 2" hitch receiver.
- Align the hitch pin holes and insert the hitch pin, securing it with the clip.
- Install and tighten the anti-wobble bracket as described in Section 4.
5.2 Loading and Unloading Cargo
The carrier features 1-3/4" spacing between rungs, ideal for small-wheeled devices.

- Release the ramp from its upright position and lower it to the ground.
- Carefully roll or push your wheeled item up the ramp onto the carrier platform. Distribute the weight as evenly as possible.
- Once the item is on the carrier, raise the ramp to its upright position and secure it.

5.3 L-Irbit tal-Merkanzija
Always secure cargo to prevent movement during transit.
- Use heavy-duty tie-down straps (not included) and the integrated anchor points to firmly secure your cargo to the carrier.
- Ensure straps are tight and checked periodically during long trips.

Nota: Ir-ramp of this cargo carrier does not fold down flat under the carrier. It remains in an upright position when not in use for loading/unloading.
6. Manutenzjoni
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your carrier.
- Tindif: Clean the aluminum and steel components with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and dry to prevent water spots or corrosion.
