Setup

- Żid il-Kafè: Open the swing-open brew basket. Place a standard basket-style paper filter or the reusable filter (if included) into the brew basket. Add desired amount of ground coffee. For best results, use 1 tablespoon of ground coffee per cup.
- Agħlaq: Close the brew basket and the water reservoir lid securely.
- Agħżel is-Saħħa tal-Infusjoni (Mhux obbligatorju): Agħfas il- GĦAŻLIET BREW button repeatedly to cycle through Regular, Bold, or 1-4 Cup settings. The selected option will appear on the display.
- Ibda l-Birra: Agħfas il- I/O (On/Off) button to begin brewing. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Pawża u Ferra Awtomatika: The coffee maker features Auto Pause & Pour, allowing you to temporarily remove the carafe to pour a cup before the brewing cycle is complete. The flow of coffee will stop automatically. Replace the carafe within 20 seconds to prevent overflow.
- Żomm sħun: After brewing, the coffee maker will automatically enter a 2-hour keep warm cycle. The heating plate will keep the coffee warm. After 2 hours, the coffee maker will automatically shut off.

3. Programming Brew Time
- Follow steps 1-3 for brewing coffee.
- Agħfas il- PROGRAMM button. The display will show the programmed time.
- Agħfas il- SIEGĦA u MIN buttons to set your desired brew time. Ensure the AM/PM indicator is correct.
- Agħfas il- PROGRAMM button again to confirm. The indicator light next to PROGRAMM se jdawwal.
- At the set time, the coffee maker will automatically begin brewing.

2. Cleaning Cycle Reminder
The coffee maker will display "CLEAN" on the digital screen when it's time to run a cleaning cycle to remove mineral deposits and ensure optimal performance. This typically occurs after a certain number of brew cycles.
3. Descaling (Cleaning Cycle)
- Empty the brew basket and carafe.
- Fill the water reservoir with 1 part white vinegar and 1 part cold water. For example, for a 12-cup cycle, use 6 cups of vinegar and 6 cups of water.
