The Adcraft BDCF-9 is an 8.7 cubic feet chest freezer designed for commercial food storage. It features a hinged lid, manual temperature control, and a durable construction.

3. Istruzzjonijiet ta' Setup

3.1 Disimballaġġ

  2. Inspect the freezer for any shipping damage. Report any damage immediately to your supplier.
  3. Remove the wire coated basket and any internal packing materials.

  • Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit. Maintain a minimum of 4 inches (10 cm) clearance from walls and other objects on all sides.
  • Avoid placing the freezer in direct sunlight or near heat sources such as ovens, radiators, or heating vents.
  • The built-in casters allow for easier positioning, but ensure the unit is stable once placed.

3.3 Tindif Inizjali

Before first use, clean the interior and exterior of the freezer with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.

3.5 L-Istartjar Inizjali

After plugging in, the freezer will begin to cool. Allow the unit to operate for 4-6 hours empty to reach its operating temperature range of -4°F to -10°F before loading with food items.

4. Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi

4.1 Kontroll tat-Temperatura

The BDCF-9 features manual temperature control. Locate the thermostat dial, typically on the front or side of the unit. Turn the dial to adjust the desired temperature within the range of -4°F to -10°F. A lower number on the dial usually indicates a colder setting.

The control panel includes indicator lights to show the operational status of the freezer:

5. Manutenzjoni

5.1 Defrosting

This freezer requires manual defrosting. Defrost when the frost layer on the interior walls reaches approximately 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick.

  3. Open the drain plug located at the bottom of the freezer. Place a shallow pan or towel underneath the drain to collect water.

  5. Once all frost has melted, clean the interior with a mild detergent and warm water.
  6. Close the drain plug securely.
  7. Plug the freezer back in and allow it to cool for several hours before returning food items.

5.2 Tindif
