5. Setup

1. Spakkja l-Ċarġer: Carefully remove the EBL Universal Charger and all accessories from its packaging.
2. Qabbad l-Enerġija: Plug the AC power adapter into the charger's input port, then plug the other end into a standard wall outlet. The LCD display will illuminate.
3. Daħħal Batteriji: Open the transparent cover of the charger. Insert the rechargeable batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, or 9V) into their respective slots, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). The LCD display will show the charging status for each battery.

6. Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi

6.1 Iċċarġjar ta' Batteriji

1. After inserting batteries, the LCD display will show the current charge level and charging animation for AA/AAA/C/D batteries. For 9V batteries, an LED indicator will light up.
2. The charger automatically detects the battery type and initiates the appropriate charging process.
3. Once batteries are fully charged, the charger will switch to trickle charging to maintain full capacity and prevent overcharging. The LCD display will show a full battery icon.

6.2 Funzjoni ta' Kwittanza

The charger features a discharge function to optimize battery performance and extend lifespan, especially for Ni-CD batteries which can suffer from memory effect.

• To initiate discharge, press the blue button located below the LCD screen. The charger will begin discharging the batteries.
• Once fully discharged, the charger will automatically switch back to charging mode.
