This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective operation of your WilTec 65W Universal Multifunction Sharpener. This versatile sharpening station is designed to sharpen various tools, including knives, scissors, drill bits, chisels, and plane blades. Please read these instructions carefully before initial use and retain them for future reference.

WARNING: Always wear safety goggles when operating this machine.
- Ensure the power supply matches the specifications (230 V/50 Hz or 120 V/60 Hz).
- Do not expose the sharpener to moisture or use in damp kundizzjonijiet.
- This motor is rated for intermittent usage. Do not operate for more than 15 minutes in any one hour period. Allow the unit to cool down between uses.

The WilTec Multifunction Sharpener consists of a main motor unit and three specialized interchangeable guides for different tool types.

4. Setup

- Module Attachment: Select the appropriate sharpening module for your tool. Slide the module down into the slots on the main unit until it latches securely. Ensure it is firmly seated before use.

5. Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi
Always ensure the sharpener is unplugged when changing modules or making adjustments. Plug in the sharpener only when ready to begin sharpening.
5.1 Sharpening Drill Bits
- Attach the High-Speed Steel Drill Sharpener module (Image 5).
- Turn on the sharpener using the ON/OFF switch.
- Insert the drill bit into the appropriate slot on the module. The module is designed to guide the drill bit at the correct sharpening angle.
- Gently push the drill bit against the grinding wheel, rotating it slightly as indicated by the arrows on the module (Image 6 & 7). Apply light, even pressure.
- Sharpen each flute of the drill bit evenly. Do not over-grind.
- Turn off the sharpener and remove the drill bit. Check the sharpness. Repeat if necessary.

5.2 Sharpening Knives and Scissors
- Attach the Knife & Scissor Sharpener module (Image 4).
- Turn on the sharpener.
- For knives, insert the blade into the designated slot and pull it through with light, consistent pressure, maintaining the angle provided by the guide. Repeat several times on each side until sharp.
- For scissors, open them fully and insert one blade into the scissor slot. Pull the blade through, maintaining the angle. Repeat for the other blade.
- Turn off the sharpener and check sharpness.
5.3 Sharpening Chisels and Plane Blades
- Attach the Chisel & Plane Sharpener module (Image 3).
- Adjust the sharpening angle on the module (e.g., 20°, 30°, 40°) according to the tool's requirements.
- Insert the chisel or plane blade into the module, ensuring it is held firmly and squarely against the guide. The module can accommodate tools from 6 mm to 51 mm in width.
- Turn on the sharpener.
- Gently push the tool against the grinding wheel, moving it back and forth evenly across the wheel's surface. Maintain consistent pressure.
- Sharpen until the desired edge is achieved.
- Turn off the sharpener and remove the tool.

6. Manutenzjoni
- Tindif: After each use, unplug the sharpener and use a soft brush or cloth to remove any metal dust or debris from the grinding wheel and modules. Do not use water or cleaning solvents.
- Ħażna: Store the sharpener and its modules in a dry, clean place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
