Follow these steps to properly install the headset in your helmet and connect it to your two-way radio.
3.1. Helmet Speaker and Microphone Installation
- Ipprepara l-Elmu: Ensure your helmet has designated speaker pockets or sufficient space to comfortably accommodate the speakers without pressing against your ears.
- Installa l-Ispeakers: Peel the adhesive backing from the helmet speakers and firmly attach them inside the helmet, aligning them with your ears. Ensure the speaker wires are routed neatly within the helmet padding.

3.2. PTT Button Attachment
The Push-to-Talk (PTT) button features a Velcro strap for convenient attachment.
- Agħżel Post: Choose a location on your motorcycle or bicycle handlebar that is easily accessible while riding, such as near the grip.
- Secure PTT: Use the integrated Velcro strap to firmly attach the PTT button to the chosen location. Ensure it is secure and does not interfere with vehicle controls.

3.3. Connecting to Two-Way Radio
- Connect Headset Components: Connect the helmet speakers and microphone cable to the main cable, ensuring all connections are secure.
- Qabbad mar-Radju: Insert the 2-pin connector from the main cable into the corresponding ports on your compatible two-way radio.

- Receive Communication: Audio from the radio will be transmitted directly to the helmet speakers. Adjust the radio's volume for comfortable listening.
- Transmit Communication: To speak, press and hold the PTT button located on your handlebar. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button to return to receive mode.
Nota: The headset utilizes the radio's volume control. There are no independent volume controls on the headset itself.
