4. Setup

4.1 Installazzjoni tal-batterija

1. Sib il-kompartiment tal-batterija fuq wara tal-arloġġ tal-allarm.
2. Iftaħ l-għatu tal-kompartiment tal-batterija.
3. Daħħal żewġ batteriji AA ġodda, waqt li tiżgura l-polarità korretta (+ u -).

The clock display will illuminate once batteries are correctly installed.

The control buttons are located on the back panel of the clock. Refer to Figure 5.1 for button identification.

5.1 Funzjonijiet tal-buttuni

• TIME SET / DIM-: Press and hold to enter time setting mode. Short press to decrease value or dim display.
• AL SET / DIM+: Press and hold to enter alarm setting mode. Short press to increase value or brighten display.
• HOUR / 12/24: In setting mode, adjusts the hour. Outside setting mode, toggles between 12-hour and 24-hour format.
• MIN / AL ON/OFF: In setting mode, adjusts the minute. Outside setting mode, toggles alarm on/off.
• SNOOZE / AL STOP (Top button): Press to activate snooze during an alarm. Press and hold to stop the alarm.

5.3 Issettjar tal-Allarm

1. Agħfas u żomm il- AL SET / DIM+ button for 2 seconds until the alarm hour digits flash.
2. Agħfas il- HOUR / 12/24 buttuna biex taġġusta s-siegħa tal-allarm.
3. Agħfas il- MIN / AL ON/OFF buttuna biex taġġusta l-minuta tal-allarm.
4. Agħfas il- AL SET / DIM+ Agħfas il-buttuna mill-ġdid biex tikkonferma u toħroġ mill-modalità tas-settings tal-allarm.

5.4 Tixgħel/Titfi l-Allarm

Agħfas qasir il- MIN / AL ON/OFF button to toggle the alarm function on or off. An alarm icon will appear on the display when the alarm is active.

5.5 Funzjoni Snooze

Meta jdoqq l-allarm, agħfas il-buttuna l-kbira SNOOZE / AL STOP button on top of the clock to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 9 minutes.

5.6 Stopping the Alarm

Biex twaqqaf l-allarm kompletament, agħfas u żomm il-buttuna SNOOZE / AL STOP button on top of the clock, or press any button on the back panel (except for snooze). The alarm will reset for the next day.

5.7 Aġġustament tal-Luminożità tad-Displej

Agħfas u żomm il- TIME SET / DIM- buttuna jew AL SET / DIM+ button for 2 seconds (outside of setting mode) to cycle through brightness levels (dimmer/brighter).

Agħfas qasir il- HOUR / 12/24 button (outside of setting mode) to switch between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour time formats.

5.9 Flashing Colon

To start or stop the flashing dots (colon) between the hour and minute digits, press and hold the MIN / AL ON/OFF buttuna għal 2 sekondi.

6. Manutenzjoni

6.1 Tindif

Wipe the clock surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or display.

6.2 Sostituzzjoni tal-batterija

When the display becomes dim or the clock functions erratically, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in Section 4.1. It is recommended to replace all 4 AA batteries simultaneously with new ones.
