1. Introduzzjoni

This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the LEDVANCE Sylvania 73743 Lightify Smart Dimming Switch. This device is designed to control compatible smart lighting systems without requiring a smartphone for basic functions. It can be mounted over an existing light switch or used as a portable remote control.

• Compatible SMART+ LED Light(s) or group of lights.
• Smartphone with the corresponding smart home hub application for initial setup and advanced configurations.

Importanti: This switch is not designed for use with traditional in-wall dimmer switches. ZigBee smart devices do not pair directly with voice control devices such as Amazon Echo Dot or Google Home without an intermediary compatible ZigBee hub.

4.1. Pairing with a ZigBee Hub

1. Ensure your compatible ZigBee hub is powered on and in pairing mode. Refer to your hub's specific instructions for entering pairing mode.
2. On the Sylvania Smart Dimming Switch, press and hold both buttons simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes.
3. The switch will attempt to pair with the hub. Once successfully paired, the indicator light will typically stop flashing or change color according to your hub's feedback.
4. Use your smartphone application for the ZigBee hub to confirm the switch has been added and to assign it to specific lights or groups.

4.2. Physical Installation (Optional)

The switch can be installed over an existing light switch to prevent accidental power cuts to your smart lights. Choose the appropriate backing plate (rocker, toggle, or solid) for your existing switch type.

1. Select the backing plate that matches your existing wall switch type (rocker, toggle, or solid).
2. Align the backing plate over your existing light switch.
3. Attach the Sylvania Smart Dimming Switch to the backing plate. The switch is designed to cover and secure the existing switch in the 'ON' position, ensuring continuous power to your smart lights.

Alternatively, the switch can be used as a portable remote control without fixed installation.

The Sylvania Lightify Smart Dimming Switch features two programmable buttons for controlling your smart lights.

The Sylvania Lightify Smart Dimming Switch is battery-operated and includes one Lithium Metal battery. When the battery level is low, the indicator light may provide a visual alert (refer to your hub's application for specific notifications). To replace the battery:
