2. Komponenti Inklużi

Your Vango Mistral 300 Trekking Tent package includes the following:

3. Istruzzjonijiet ta' Setup

3.1. L-Għażla tas-Sit

Choose a flat, level area free of sharp objects. Consider wind direction and natural drainage.

3.2. Unpacking and Laying Out

Remove the tent from its Fast-Pack carry bag. Lay the inner tent flat on the ground, ensuring the groundsheet is spread out evenly.

3.3. Pole Assembly

Assemble the Vango PowerLite alloy poles by connecting the sections. Identify the correct poles for each sleeve based on their length and color coding (if present).

3.4. Pitching the Inner Tent (Inner-First)

Insert the assembled poles into the corresponding sleeves on the inner tent. Arch the poles and secure them at the base using the pins or clips provided. This will raise the inner tent structure.

3.5. Attaching the Flysheet

Drape the flysheet over the erected inner tent, aligning the doors and vents. Secure the flysheet to the inner tent and poles using the attached buckles, clips, or hook-and-loop fasteners. Ensure the flysheet is taut and evenly distributed.

3.6. Pegging Out

Secure the tent to the ground using the provided tent pegs. Start with the four corners, then peg out all guylines and additional pegging points to ensure stability and proper tensioning. Adjust guylines as needed to keep the flysheet taut and prevent flapping.

3.7. Ventilation Adjustment

Open or close the flysheet vents as required to manage airflow and minimize condensation inside the tent.

4. Operazzjoni

4.1. Entry and Exit

Use the zippered doors for entry and exit. Ensure zippers are fully closed when not in use to prevent insects or weather from entering.

4.2. Ventilazzjoni

Utilize the mesh inner tent and flysheet vents to maintain airflow and reduce condensation. Adjust vent openings based on weather conditions.

4.3. Ħażna

The tent's design includes extra space in the porch area for storing gear. Keep wet or dirty items in the porch to maintain cleanliness inside the inner tent.

5. Kura u Manutenzjoni

5.1. Tindif

The tent fabric should be hand washed only. Use a soft sponge and mild, non-detergent soap with lukewarm water. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or dry clean. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.

5.2. Tnixxif

Always ensure the tent is completely dry before packing it away. Packing a damp tent can lead to mildew, fabric degradation, and unpleasant odors. Air dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area.

5.3. Ħażna

Store the tent in its Fast-Pack carry bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Avoid storing heavy items on top of the packed tent.

5.4. Pole Care

Inspect tent poles for any damage or bending before and after each use. Clean poles with a damp cloth if necessary. Ensure elastic cords are in good condition.

5.5. Zipper Care

Keep zippers clean and free of dirt or sand. Lubricate occasionally with a silicone-based zipper lubricant to ensure smooth operation.
