This manual provides essential information for the proper use and maintenance of your ZeroWater 5-Stage Water Filter. Designed to deliver the purest tasting water, this advanced filtration system removes virtually all total dissolved solids (TDS) for the purest taste in every sip. It’s IAPMO-certified to reduce lead, PFOA/PFOS (forever chemicals), and mercury, giving you peace of mind that you’re drinking healthier, cleaner water.

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Wash the pitcher, reservoir, and lid with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly before assembly.

2. Filter Preparation and Installation
Remove the new filter from its sealed packaging. Twist the filter firmly into the bottom of the reservoir until a complete seal is formed between the filter, O-ring, and reservoir. Ensure it is securely tightened to prevent leaks.

Fill the upper reservoir with cold tap water. Allow the water to slowly filter through to the lower pitcher. For optimal performance, allow the filter to fully saturate during the first few uses.

1. Dispensing Filtered Water
Once the water has filtered through to the lower pitcher, it is ready for consumption. You can pour directly from the spout or use the convenient dispenser tap located at the bottom of some models.

2. Using the TDS Meter
The included TDS meter measures the total dissolved solids in your water. To use, simply turn on the meter and dip its prongs into a small sample of filtered water. A reading of 000 indicates pure water. For best results, change your filter when the TDS meter reads 006 or higher.

Replace your ZeroWater filter when the TDS meter reads 006 or higher. To replace, unscrew the old filter from the reservoir and screw in a new one. Ensure a tight seal to prevent unfiltered water from bypassing the filter.

2. Cleaning the Pitcher
Regularly clean the pitcher and reservoir with mild soap and water. Do not use abrasive cleaners. All parts are BPA-free and safe for hand washing.

Slow Filtration or No Flow
- Air Lock: Sometimes air can get trapped in the filter, preventing water flow. Gently shake the pitcher or tap the filter to release trapped air bubbles.
- Filtru misdud: If your tap water has high levels of dissolved solids, the filter may become saturated quickly. Check your TDS meter reading. If it's 006 or higher, replace the filter.
Water Tastes Sour or Unpleasant
- Filter Exhausted: This indicates the filter is no longer effectively removing impurities. Replace the filter immediately.
- Improper Seal: Ensure the filter is tightly screwed into the reservoir to prevent unfiltered water from mixing with purified water.
