2. Setup
2.1 Kontenut tal-Pakkett
Ivverifika li l-oġġetti kollha huma preżenti fil-pakkett:
- Yeastar NeoGate TG800 Unit
- Adapter tal-Enerġija
- Cable Ethernet
- GSM Antennas (8 units)
- Gwida ta 'Installazzjoni Mgħaġġla
2.2 Installazzjoni Fiżika
- Waħħal Antenni: Screw the eight GSM antennas onto the corresponding connectors on the rear panel of the TG800.
- Daħħal il-Kards tas-SIM: Locate the SIM card slots on the front panel. Insert up to eight standard SIM cards into the slots, ensuring correct orientation.
- Qabbad il-Kejbil tan-Netwerk: Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the LAN port on the TG800 and the other end to your network router or switch.
- Qabbad l-Enerġija: Connect the power adapter to the TG800's power input and then plug it into an electrical outlet. The device will power on automatically.
2.3 Konfigurazzjoni Inizjali tan-Netwerk
By default, the TG800 obtains an IP address via DHCP. To access the web interface:
- Identify the IP address assigned to the TG800 using your router's DHCP client list or a network scanning tool.
- Iftaħ a web browser and enter the IP address of the TG800.
- Log in using the default username and password (refer to the Quick Installation Guide for default credentials).
- Configure network settings (Static IP, DHCP Client, VLAN) as required for your network environment.
3. Istruzzjonijiet Operattivi
3.1 Web Interface fuqview
Il- web interface provides comprehensive control over the TG800's functions, including:
- Status: Monitor system status, GSM module status, and network connectivity.
- Trunks: Configure SIP and IAX2 trunks for connecting to IP PBXs or VoIP service providers.
- Rottaġġ tas-Sejħiet: Set up inbound and outbound call routes between GSM and VoIP.
- GSM Settings: Manage SIM card settings, SMS, and USSD operations.
- Issettjar tas-Sistema: Configure time, date, firmware updates, and user accounts.
3.2 Basic Call Functionality
Once configured, the TG800 facilitates calls between the GSM network and your VoIP system.
- Outbound Calls: Calls from your IP PBX or VoIP phones are routed through the TG800 to the GSM network based on configured outbound routes.
- Sejħiet 'il ġewwa: Calls received on the GSM SIM cards are routed through the TG800 to your IP PBX or specific VoIP extensions based on configured inbound routes.
4. Manutenzjoni
4.1 Aġġornamenti tal-Firmware
Regularly check the Yeastar website for firmware updates. Updating the firmware ensures optimal performance, security, and access to new features.
- Niżżel l-aħħar firmware file from the official Yeastar support portal.
- Access the TG800 web interface.
- Navigate to the System Settings > Firmware Upgrade section.
- Tella l-firmware mniżżel file and follow the on-screen instructions. Do not power off the device during the upgrade process.
4.2 Tindif u Kura
Żomm l-apparat nadif u ħieles mit-trab.
- Uża drapp artab u niexef biex timsaħ il-parti ta' barra.
- Evita li tuża cleaners likwidi jew materjali li joborxu.
- Żgura ventilazzjoni xierqa madwar l-apparat biex tevita sħana żejda.
5 Issolvi l-problemi
5.1 Kwistjonijiet Komuni u Soluzzjonijiet
- Ebda Qawwa:
Kun żgur li l-adapter tal-enerġija huwa konness sew kemm mal-apparat kif ukoll ma' sokit elettriku li jaħdem.
- Ebda Konnettività man-Netwerk:
Check the Ethernet cable connection. Verify network settings in the web interface. Confirm your router is assigning an IP address or that static IP settings are correct.
- GSM Modules Not Registering:
Ensure SIM cards are correctly inserted and active. Check antenna connections. Verify GSM signal strength in the web interface. Contact your mobile operator if issues persist.
- Calls Not Connecting:
Review SIP trunk configurations and call routing rules in the web interface. Check firewall settings on your network to ensure SIP/IAX2 ports are open.
5.2 Indikaturi LED
The front panel LEDs provide status information:
- LED tal-qawwa: Solid green indicates power on.
- LED tas-sistema: Indicates system status (e.g., blinking for normal operation, solid for boot-up).
- LED LAN: Jindika l-istatus u l-attività tal-link tal-Ethernet.
- GSM Channel LEDs: Indicate the status of each GSM module (e.g., solid for registered, blinking for activity, off for unregistered).
