The Icom R6 Sport is a versatile and compact receiver designed for wideband frequency coverage, offering superior sensitivity and resistance to interference. Setup
1. Installazzjoni tal-batterija
The Icom R6 requires two (2) AA alkaline batteries. Ensure correct polarity when inserting the batteries into the compartment located on the rear of the unit. Close the battery cover securely.

Screw the supplied antenna (FA-S270C) clockwise onto the antenna connector at the top of the receiver until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

5. Voice Squelch Control (VSC)
The VSC function automatically opens the squelch only when a modulated signal is detected, effectively reducing noise from unmodulated beat signals. This is particularly useful when scanning for voice communications.
